Happen upon this place after hiking Jacob’s Crossing. We were famished and looking for a good burger. Didn’t know they had chicken fried steak and thats what I went with. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. Not sure what they flavor the mashed potatoes with but they weren’t my favorite. Not bad, just distracting from the chicken and gravy. Side salad was fresh and my wife loved her Buffalo Chicken Sandwhich. Great music and drinks. Drew took great care of us and all the staff was friendly! Was a nice night to be on the patio and had it all to ourselves. Awesome experience and prices!

All the staff was friendly and attentive. I sat at a high top in the bar area but there is also a dining room and a small porch out back. The food was very good. The fish was light and crispy, not greasy. My only criticism is the beans. When the plate was presented to me I took one look at the beans and said to myself, “canned pork and beans”, so I dress them up a bit with a little ketchup and a little bit of mustard and they tasted better. I think that they could be fixed a little so that they’re something to talk about. Sorry Lou.

My family had a holiday/birthday lunch celebration on 12/27/25 at Lucky Lou’s and their team went over and above. We have 2 dogs and needed outside sitting. The staff led by Daniel were great. We had too much sunshine and they adjusted the blinds. We ordered lots of different types of food and appetizers and everything was fantastic. You helped 1 family make memories for a lifetime. My husband and I retired from the hospitality industry. We know good service!!! This team and food was great! We all loved the birthday dessert too!

The reviews brought us to try Lucky Lou’s. We got there and we seated ourselves. We found a nice booth and a server came to take our drink order. The glasses were large sized and had plenty of ice. We needed a moment to look over the menu as there were a lot of options. Another sever came to take our order. I had the French dip sandwich. It was ordinary, nothing too special about it but nothing to complain about either. My husband had the steak sandwich. Again, just an ordinary sandwich. The fries were crispy and hot.
We opted to get dessert. The apple pie was just okay as well as the chocolate cake.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience but nothing to hype about. Maybe ill be back to try something else.

This is a very inexpensive good meal. The Fried Zucchini is absolutely mouthwatering It was light and crispy the ranch was very good. The portions here are also very good. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and was disappointed the chicken looked good but was dry and tough. The hostess we’re all attentive and Friendly. Good came out within 5 minutes. I would recommend I will try something different next time since chicken was dry on this sandwich.

This place had good reviews so we thought we’d give it a try. We were very disappointed. We ordered one strawberry lemonade, but she brought two. The strawberry lemonade was $4.99 . She deducted one from the bill. Hubby ordered the Bistro Burger. Cheese was 79 cents extra, I think. He said it was ok. I ordered what I thought was the turkey melt for $9.99 off the Brunch menu. I don’t recall bacon being in the description. When I got the bill I was charged $10.99, but I didn’t want to argue about a dollar. There was hardly any turkey in the sandwich. The fries were good though. The apple pie was good too. I don’t know what all the hubbub about this place was all about, because it wasn’t all that (at least in my opinion). We won’t be going back.

Decided to have my birthday dinner here and was very disappointed in the service. Sunday, 2/15/26 at 6:30pm we were a party of 3 adults and 1 child. The food was excellent. Although it took a while to come out, it was worth the wait. The service was…not so much. Our waitress was very annoyed and short with us. We tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. We ended up having to get our own boxes and find another server to get us our check, after already asking our server for it. We understand people have hard days, and that’s why we didn’t let it affect her tip. But again, it was my birthday and after spending hours trying to find the perfect spot for my dinner, I was very disappointed. Thank you to the male server for helping us with our check and thank you to the kitchen for the wonderful food.

Have been here a few times with my mom and had great food and service those times. Went just my husband and self and if you’re 30s or under don’t expect service, we were ignored completely the entire time after ordering and getting our food.
I had an issue with the burnt bacon yet the several servers running around, chatting up their older customers, just looked right through us as we attempted to make eye contact. I even placed the burnt bacon in a separate plate at the end of the table along with our empty drinks that were never offered to refill. We felt like ghosts yet we’re seated in the middle.
They definitely cater more towards their regulars, especially this time of year. Only finally did someone come to bring the check when everything was eaten and I didnt get to enjoy my meal fully. They did comp me the inedible bacon only. So im still leaving 3 stars.
The staff are young so maybe they thought only their older customers tip but we work hard to be able to enjoy a nice lunch after a busy week and tip for all sit down service. Yet we received the bare minimum expected (took order, brought food and drink once, and check) and I still tipped 15% for our lunch. Please educate your staff to provide the same level of service regardless of age, gender, color. We sadly won’t be returning although the food is quite good.

I had their brunch for two eggs, breakfast potatoes with a side of ham steak. The eggs were of reasonable size. The potatoes were very generous as was the side of Ham steak.
Not only was it good but I actually had to leave some food behind even though I hadn’t eaten till 1:00 in the afternoon. When I had that brunch I was amazed at how much they served on the potatoes.
