My husband and I tried this place on Saturday and were very disappointed to be honest. We ordered the Veal Marsala and the Beef Tenderloin. We started with the salads and did not like the canned mushrooms on top. They just did not serve the salad well. The Veal was very tender and well cooked, but the Marsala was very bland and looked very pale. I should have known I was in trouble when the waitress asked if I wanted capers with it. I have had Marsala in many places including Italy and this was not good at all. My husband got the Beef Tenderloin and the beef was good and tender but the sauce was not good at all and it too was bland. He tried added salt and pepper to help it, but it did not work. The red sauce on the spaghetti was nothing special or different. We thought with all of the good reviews this would be much better than what we received. The service was okay. We had to wait to be greeted at the table and while she was nice she was slow and not intuitive at all. The prices would be fair if they quality was there, but for the quality that we received the prices were too high. The tables are a little close together and when people take up more room than the chair allow it can get crowded. We will not be back due to the food and service and would not recommend.

We love eating at this family owed business as I help support the local establishments. Our food was amazing! My favorite meal is the Shrimp Alfredo and the Chicken Piccata. The Crème brûlée is my favorite dessert. I know why this place has been around for almost 50 years.

My husband initially thought this was a pizza place and then we walked in and saw it was an Italian restaurant so we tried it out.
Your sign on the door had me wondering if I would be accepted inside “dressed appropriately” Thankfully my tie-dye shirt I had on didn’t run them off and we were welcomed in with a table.
At first glance of walking in, no smell at all?? You’re an Italian place we sat right near the kitchen and I couldn’t smell anything. That doesn’t give me good signs. I wanted to smell the fresh Italian foods being prepared. The vibe is darker, it doesn’t feel Italian unless you look at the wall decor. I understand this is an older establishment. Just thought more. Expectations always let us down in some way.
The staff was helpful, and the young man who helped refill the water was on top of it that night. Our waitress was helpful, but kinda of seemed annoyed that my husband took a bit to order.
The food here is a little more $$ so be prepared.
My husband ordered the meat platter with manicotti, meatballs, veal, spaghetti, ravioli, and sausage. He enjoyed the veal the most. The red sauce had good flavor, not super sweet. 8/10
I wanted to try the chicken Alfredo lasagna, good just hard to cut when there is a whole slice of grilled chicken sandwiched between the fresh pasta. Needed some more flavor, salt, or more garlic. Kinda greasy too. 7/10 the pasta did look fresh.
The bread – tastes like it was frozen and heated up in the oven.
Not my favorite Italian that I’ve eaten but for not having it in a while this place didn’t disappoint too badly. Something different and new to try.
Definitely a popular place so maybe it just didn’t match our taste buds. Try it out for yourself.

First time visiting. I ordered gluten-free pasta with vegan sauce, and the younger staff members were kind and helpful. However, an older woman who appeared to be the manager was cold and made us feel unwelcome when we requested simple modifications. I paid about $26 for a small spaghetti portion with one tiny roll, which felt overpriced. I also felt rushed out once I received my food.

Papa Dio’s is absolutely fantastic! Everything we tried was delicious, but the eggplant Parmesan is a MUST try — hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Great flavors, great portions, and friendly service. We’ll definitely be back!

I love this place! My husband grew up eating here – his parents actually used to work out of the “wine bar” side of here before it was a wine bar! So he would literally hop over all the time. I finally got to try it and wow – so good! The mozzarella sticks are decent, my husband loves them. I like the Papa’s salad and the minestrone is really nice. I absolutely LOVE the Trieste sauce – I didn’t get it the first time I came here because I had never had it but I tried my husband’s plate and was SOLD. Give me extra!!! Hah! Service is always really good. Love coming here!

I never have luck googling restaurants.. but I spun a round the map and found this restaurant and why not? Menu looked like good variety and they had been around awhile. So we made a reservation. It was great! The Alfredo you can taste the cheese, not just cream. The shrimp didn’t appear to have even been frozen. I ordered two meatballs by themselves.. one of the best. It was soft and tender and good flavor! I can tell you the dishes visually look simple, but the flavor is not. All of our food was spectacular. We will be back! Finally a win with a Google search!

My husband and I tried this place for date night and oh…em…gee… AMAZING! I would’ve never thought to try this place because I’m not big on Italian food (so I thought) NOW I AM! The red sauce is . It was the deal of the week on the Sweet Deals website and I’m so so glad that I bought the gift certificate. I had the Italian margarita and it was delicious. The service was top notch. The atmosphere was so nice. Thank you guys for helping with a successful date night ❤️❤️❤️. I can’t remember the names of the waitress and hostess, due to me having 2 Italian margaritas LOL, but just know, they were absolutely amazing as well

Simple classic Italian food! Come here for a great atmosphere, service, and most of all, great classic hand made Italian food. I had the most tender veal Marsala I’ve ever eaten. The baked artichokes were an amazing appetizer and gluten free. Ask for Chrissy for great service. You won’t be disappointed!

We finally decided to give this place a shot after 10 years of living close by..
(A couple years ago, we actually walked in and sat down, seen the prices on the menu and walked out.)
but.. after always seeing the parking lot full, we figured we should see why, and try it out.. I don’t know if people just store their vehicles there or what, because they’re was two other tables seated beside us..
I mean it was pretty good but not $86.00 dollars before tip good
7.50 extra for the (maybe) one mushroom on her plate back there..
They ask what salad you want with your meal but up charged 3.50 for the Cesar with out informing you of that
I ordered the House salad that came with the chicken Alfredo and it was literally iceberg lettuce, and three olive slivers
I’m all about treating ourselves to some good food and never complain about price,
But this was maybe worth 40/50 bucks to me not $100 bucks with tip..
We will continue to go to Flips for now on, where quality actually matches the price.
Will definitely read owners responses to negative reviews before we give another questionable place like this a shot..
I’ve had better Alfredo from homelands frozen food aisle
