I’ve been coming here for a few years now. The bagels themselves are kind of dry and underwhelming. However, their bagel sandwiches are definitely worth getting a try. My personal favorite and the one I’ve been having for years is the salmon lox bagel. I think it’s probably the best sandwich on their menu and probably the best Salman lox bagel You can find in Salt Lake City. It’s definitely not a type of joint where you were going to find a place to sit during a busy weekend day. Also I’d recommend going early before the good bagels sell out.

Every time I get breakfast from here I feel like im inconvenienceing the cashier. She never even says hello or acts welcoming in any manner. Not sure if she’s just doing an “im sad” act to increase tip potential or maybe she just really hates her job. Either way I would not continue to go there if my wife didnt insist on eating the BLT regularly. The guy that makes the sandwiches is much nicer. I’m convinced there are only 2 employees as I’ve never seen anyone else working there. Maybe that’s the issue? Some people are well suited for customer service positions and some people should be working from home. Hopefully your cashier girl finds something she enjoys doing in the near future and you can get someone friendly so I can feel better about spending 22 bucks on two bagel sandwiches. The food is pretty good though.

Was looking for a place to grab some breakfast close to Liberty Park and this fit the bill. There were a few people in line ordering ahead of me but it moved quick. I ordered a Lox & Loaded. It took about 15 minutes for my bagel to be ready. It seems like online order ahead is the way to go. But the bagel was delicious and very filling!

So good we had to dip in twice on our swing through slc. Had the BLT, the lox, and the bacon, egg, and cheese with the works. Definitely worth a stop!!

About a month ago, I ordered dozen bagels from the Holladay location and when I got home and began prepping bagels for family, I found an “”S” hook in the bottom of the bag.The hooks hold up the name of bagels in the bins. Today (11/22/25) I tried them again but waited while the 2 people working were frantic trying to fulfill Doordash orders of which there were 4 drivers in the store waiting. I left after 10 mins of standing there without being asked for my order, so I placed an order online for dozen bagels for pickup thinking a little time will let them catch up. Upon paying for the order, I was charged $3.25 for a 2 ounce container of veggie cream cheese. This would be enough for one bagel. Not great!!

Stopped by The Bagel Project in Salt Lake City — service was fast and friendly, but the bagels themselves were a bit dry and underwhelming. The saving grace was the cream cheese smear was absolutely perfect. Limited seating inside, so it’s best to grab your order to go

i wish the owner would address the reviews of how poor the service is. every single time i go in to pick something up, no one speaks to me, no one looks me in the eye. i say thank you and they say nothing back. it’s pretty rude. on top of that i leave a tip, and they can’t even acknowledge me. why would i leave a tip if thats the scenario? everytime i come here i am put off by the rude workers. when the people who work at another bagel shop are so sweet, it reminds me to not come back here! please take some time to address this issue with your employees!

This is one of my favorite spots in downtown Salt Lake City for savoring a variety of bagel options (and believe me, I have tried a fair few popular restaurants). Every bagel I’ve tried has been fantastic, especially because their cream cheese is incredibly delicious! The bagels are freshly made, and the generous cream cheese filling makes them worth every dime. Service is also prompt, even on busy weekends. If the main parking lot is full, there’s convenient street parking right across the road.

Great choice for bagels in the city. I had the soy chorizo and the pb&j bagels. Both on asiago cheese bagels. To my liking, there could have been a little more of the chorizo on the breakfast bagel, but the flavors of the sandwich were on point. The pb&j was what can be expected by a pb&j; satisfying and unpretentious.

The best bagels! I love their veggie sandwich and the GOAT sandwich, though I do look forward to a new special. They have very fast service. The seating is okay, better in summer when you can sit outside comfortably.
