Hate to post a bad review, but got takeout and our pizza was totally nuked. Wasn’t that busy so it couldn’t have been overlooked, but disappointed. Tried choking down a few slices because it was late and we were hungry, but not great.

The pizza is some of the best on the island, and in my opinion the best! The menu is huge for such a small restaurant, and an incredible variety (tacos, appetizers, pasta, as well as “chic pasta” similar to “rasta pasta.” I’ve been coming here for years. They cook the pizza in a true brick oven which is almost unheard of on the island. The service is exceptional with the addition of Dennis who gives classic, proper “steps of service” with a professional, friendly demeanor. Get some good bud and goodies next door, and obviously come by Pie Whole for some munchies!!!! Thank yall as always!

We absolutely loved the food here—every bite was delicious! The pizzas were fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. On top of that, the servers were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a must-visit spot if you’re in St. Thomas!

The moment we entered the restaurant, waiter kept reiterating almost 50 times to every single guest about how pizza will take more than 1 hour. We still tried that we will wait here. We ordered bruschetta, garlic bread and 2 pizza. We received bruschetta right away however the waiter forgot that we had ordered garlic bread and upon waiting there for 1.5 hour, we still did not receive garlic bread or pizza. Waiter keeps forgetting what a guest has ordered and he takes the dish to every single person to ask them if it’s there or not.
Worst service ever and no professional. We ended up going to dominoes.

This place definitely needs to have more than one server working at a time, as the service is super slow (even slower than the usual island time at other local places). After forgetting our drinks and then have us wait for 45 minutes for a large pizza, my husband and I were given a personal pizza to share and told they could take it away and have us wait to make a whole new one or we could just share the small personal pizza. We shared the pizza, which had crust that was so hard it wouldn’t break even hitting it across a plate and tasted nothing like pizza. We were still required to pay the 18% gratuity. We left and got an awesome dinner elsewhere after.

We love pie whole and try to go at least once while staying in French Town. We will be back in French Town in 10 days and are already planning what to eat when we come back. The pizza tonight was delicious and we really enjoyed talking with the staff and the owner!

Staff was very distracted. We walked in and the woman who asked if we wanted to eat inside or out told us to take a seat when we said ‘outsude’ and it was 15 minutes until someone checked in on us. I asked for a summer ale and they didn’t have one. I was instructed to go inside and see what the beer options were instead of them providing a list. All of the beers were on a shelf near the ceiling and were so dark I couldn’t see what they were. It took another 15 minutes to get the beer I ordered. When we ordered food only some of it came out. When I asked about the remaining food, I was told it wasn’t ready yet. Another 10 minutes later I was then informed that it was never put on with the kitchen. They did take my beers off of the bill, but that was a rough meal.
