The chicken sandwich with fries was good. The ranch dressing was great. The chicken salad was okay. I get the ease of food prep by using prepared bags of lettuce. Personally, I have found most of the time half of the lettuce placed in my salad order shouldn’t have made it into the bag and should be in a trash or compost bin. It doesn’t matter what type of restaurant I am almost to the point of not ordering a salad.

I came in on a weekday morning for a quick breakfast sandwich… The place seems to be popular with the locals, as it was about half full, but I found a spot at the bar. There was one lady working the entire dining room, but she was quick and efficient.
I opted for a sausage, egg, & cheese breakfast sandwich on a bagel and a cup of coffee… Oh, and a glass of water. The water was perfectly fine! The coffee was decent. And that breakfast sandwich was one of the BEST I’ve had in a long time! The bagel was soft and tasty and they buttered it before assembling the sandwich. The sausage was tasty, but the egg was outstanding! Perfectly cooked! In fact, all the omeletes and scrambled egg dishes I saw coming from the kitchen were consistently perfect looking!
I highly recommend coming here… I’d like to see how they do for lunch, I’m sure it’s great too!

We had a great breakfast here. The western omelette with fried potatoes was delicious. They make their own donuts! It’s a cute diner with a bit of vintage charm. Staff and patrons were all very friendly. We’ll definitely be back to support this local business.

Wonderful staff, Jayden (I hope I spelled it correctly) was helpful, polite, and friendly. She knew her menu well and gave great recommendations! The food was worth the drive from the Pittsburgh area!

Went 2 times.first time ordered clam strip dinner. way over done and .portion was half the size of an appetizer .let it go.tried them again.my buddy ordered liver and onions.came out raw in center.blood on plate .sent back and was grossed out and walked out.pork chops were not done much better. flavor less.tough and both times the waitress was slower than turtle. Just a horrible lunch.took at least 45 minutes to get food.only thing good about this place were the other patrons. Nicest people you ever wanted to meet. I’m sorry to say they need to fire everyone and close the doors.

I really don’t ever leave a review but I’ve only been in a few times and it was decent, however yesterday my experience was beyond disgusting. For starters the customer service from the server really just sucked. I don’t know if she was just having a bad day or she sincerely hated her job and people in general. She moved at a snails pace with a disgusted look on her face no matter what she was doing. And sometimes you just have one of those days. Hope tomorrow is better for her. I had the roast beef sandwich and I can’t lie it tasted like roasted road kill. The gravy was gross, 10 minutes into our meal our server showed up with a couple random bowls of corn, there wasn’t enough salt and pepper to help it, BUT…the French fries were surprisingly good. I’m so very thankful I opted not to get gravy on those. I really don’t think we will be visiting again anytime soon and are really curious as to how they’ve managed to stay open with service like this

All I have to say is wow. I gave this place a chance even though it’s extremely rough and gross looking. There is only one cook and one waitress at all times because they know they have bad business. so it’s extremely slow. It was always ok food and desserts. But I love how when I order to go for breakfast on Saturday for the first time and they say they serve breakfast all day on Saturday and Sunday. But when I ordered at only 12pm. The breakfast was trash. The portions were all over the place mainly extremely tiny… the scrabbled Eggs were over cooked and even forgot the cheese for one of the orders and bacon for the other. Time for this place to shut down for better opportunities east palestine really needs it. I didn’t mind paying a full dollar for a single donut but now you made them smaller and worse sorry but circle k and the original roadhouse now have my full business.

My wife and I had dinner on a Friday night. Very charming restaurant, hidden gem in East Palestine. Food and service were excellent! I would highly recommend trying it! What a treat!
