I came here before a show at the Epiphany Center and was pleasantly surprised at just how delicious the food was. I had the quesadilla with meat and was only planning on taking one bite and saving the rest, but it was so good that I ate the entire thing in minutes. The bathroom is a little chilly, but with food that delicious- it’s well worth the visit.

Under new management
I got the chance to try out this location for the first time under the new management and they’re coming in swinging! I tried a bit of everyting and it’s nice to get a good taste of fine mexican cousine somewhere near downtown chicago. I recommend the Carne asada and Odly enough, the Chicken Wings. The agua de horchata was very natural to the taste and I did not find it difficult to find parking space.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for some good authentic food!

My order was take out and I had the chopped steak burrito dinner and flan. Overall, the meal was mediocre. The steak was chopped small, which I liked, but it lacked seasoning and wasn’t tender. I specifically asked for no beans in my burrito, and while that was honored, I expected a bit more effort in the side portions—both the beans and rice sides were only half full.
The flan was disappointing as well. It was served in a styrofoam bowl, which immediately made it feel less authentic, and the taste didn’t redeem it. It was just as mediocre as the main course. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’d order from here again.

The food was alright. Got some tacos de lengue and were slacking on flavor even with the cilantro and onions. The green sauce felt watered and had to drench it to at least taste the sauce. The inside was neat, but the strawberry milkshake was delicious.

Really exceptional quality of food and great service! Had my order done in under 5 minutes. Very authentic and even gave me a free extra quesadilla. Highly recommend visiting here. The Al pastor was fantastic!

Loved the service! The waitress was very nice and attentive. I could easily get her attention if need be. As for the food, almost everything was fresh and homemade. I ordered the chicken burrito expecting it to possibly be dry but the chicken was cooked perfectly. I am definitely coming again.

Very good very juicy . Definitely loved the salsa it was just the right amount of a kick that it needed . The server was nice and they came quick with the food after I ordered . I will definitely be coming back again.

Disappointing. We arrived for our reservation only to find out that the restaurant was not open. This has happened several times. The food is decent, but we won’t be returning.

Had a gift certificate for $10 off a $30 meal that the restaurant said, in person before we ordered, that they would honor. After we had ordered and were eating, we were told that they had a new manager who would not accept the certificate. We spent 20 minutes on the phone with the manager, who tried to tell us she would not charge us the optional tip. She then led us to believe she’d have a conversation with the waitress about removing a $12 drink, which was the only thing we ordered that was close to $10. When the waitress began washing oranges and avoiding the table, we figured that was just an excuse to get us off the phone. Sure enough, it was. Dishonest brokers, at best.
