What a wonderful little find. When you walk in, you wonder how you missed this place before. Creatively decorated, comfortable tables inside and in their outside courtyard. The beverages are large, and well made with many selections to choose from. The food was delicious and plentiful. Stop by sometimes and watch the game at the bar.

The food was good, the mixed drinks good. Definitely a good taste on the Chicharron with Guacamole, they were crunchy as expected and very fresh. We had to wait on our drinks for an oddly longer time than anticipated. Besides that all was great. Will visit them again.

Love the atmosphere and the look and feel of the place. I sometimes bring my coworkers to this place for lunch and its like a little paradise escape for a while. Theres seating inside and also seating on the outside which is great to be at on days with beautiful weather. The food is fantastic and the service is always friendly. I recommend the taco salad.

This place had good reviews, but ended up disappointed. Maybe Tuesday isn’t a good day, or I came on an off day, but I was not impressed. Had hoped to show my husband some good bay area Mexican food, and this place did not do that for us. The food was only ok. The chips they put on the table tasted old. The server was slow, and did a bad job at listening when taking our orders. He asked us for our drink orders, but left before we all got to put in our drink orders. When I saw it was our server getting their own drinks, and could see they clearly weren’t a bartender, I changed my mind on ordering anything more complex, and decided to just order basic margaritas. We appreciated the generous pours from management who we watched make the margaritas for the server. We ordered more tortillas, and the kitchen had been dinging they had them ready, and I watched the server ignoring it. I did see he had other things- person should not be a lone server, but would also be cool if management was paying more attention to fill in for him to help run food with more expedience, as the server seemed overwhelmed and didn’t have a tray, which looked to be slowing things down. I got the enchiladas de mole. I love mole, but this mole sauce was not good. It tasted ok for what it was, but it didn’t taste anything like I’d expect from a mole. It weirdly reminded me of sauce you’d get in a lasagna, which doesn’t make sense. Dunno. The rice was also hard and dry, and not very flavorful. The beans were cooked decent, but didn’t have much for flavor. The rest of the party agreed the chips were old, as we could see the bin and extra chips sitting under the warmer, and for how long- who knows. Party also said their fajitas didn’t have much taste. Overall the food was OK, but nothing that highlights how good Mexican food is in the bay area, and not anywhere I would go back to.

Great food, delicious and authentic. This place and its cooks always impress w the flavoring. Owner is awesome and welcoming. Karaoke is fun as well, along with the fresh drinks. Gem traditional restaurant. Update. By far one of the best Mexican restaurants in the southbay.
Great birthday experience!

We found this unassuming place on the map and decided to give it a try
I was happy to see menudo and pozole on the menu, sign of an authentic Mexican restaurant
Of course, I had to order the menudo. The meat and cow stomach just melt in my mouth. So good!
Pork carnitas was ok. Pork was barely warm and the rice was plain. Bean tasted good
The margarita had a bit too much syrup in it. I’ll remember to ask for less syrup next time I visit
Yes, definitely will come back and try other dishes

This place is awesome. Very loving warming family vibe. The food was amazing. I came here for Mother’s Day with an 8 person family party. I had a Cadillac Margarita and a Carne Asada Wet Burrito. Great people working there and the art on the walls made the food even better.

Best Mexican in town, hands down. Everything is absolutely delicious. Carne asada, shrimp, chicharrón, guacamole, and some of the best corn tortillas I’ve had in a restaurant. And everything is reasonably priced, huge portions that fill me up, still have some left overs, under 30$.
Honestly this is a total local gem, im dragging everyone I know here. Even my mom who’s super picky ate *everything*.
