I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza and highly recommend it. There were many toppings I liked, and after just two slices, I was satisfied but ended up taking four slices home! Price ✔️

Stopped in at Joe Pesto’s Wood Fired Pizza while passing through town and had a mixed experience.
The girl who seated me put me in a booth for four, then said she might move me if a larger party came in — which didn’t make much sense since the table she wanted to move me to seats eight and has tall chairs. Not the most comfortable or logical approach to seating.
The Buffalo pizza was delicious and the apple cider on draft was excellent , but unfortunately the inside experience left a lot to be desired. The atmosphere is dim, with several burned-out overhead lights , the decor is dusty, and the parmesan cheese shaker was clearly neglected — only 1/8 full, with cheese clinging to the sides. Disgusting.
This place may work better as a takeout spot, because the in-house service felt unprofessional and disorganized. While the food itself is very good, I won’t be coming back since I’m from out of town, and the cleanliness and customer service issues really stood out.

Hands down the best pizza in BC!
I brought my family to Squamish and we asked some locals where the best pizza place was and we were told to try Joe Pestos. They were right! We got the meat carnivore pizza and the spicy Italian with some extras which were amazing. Lots of toppings, lots of flavour and delicious crisp crust. Went in to pick it up and the restaurant was modern and clean. The staff were very welcoming and I got to have a good conversation with the main pizza chef who ended up being the owner Joe! I highly recommend if you’re looking for the best pizza in Squamish this is the place to try. 10/10 great local small business that we will happily support again when we come back to Squamish. Thanks Joe & Staff! Keep up the good work!

Joe Pesto’s is one of those places that keeps it simple—and actually does it well. The food is consistently solid, the portions don’t mess around, and the flavours hit without trying too hard. You can tell they care about what they’re serving.
Service is friendly and efficient, even when it’s busy, which in a town like Squamish matters. It’s casual, unpretentious, and dependable—exactly what you want when you’re grabbing a meal out and don’t feel like gambling on quality.
Not trendy. Not trying to be Instagram-famous. Just good food, done right, and a place you’ll keep coming back to because you know what you’re getting.

Cool friendly atmosphere, staff were great, pizza and Greek salad were really good, tasted like quality whole food/ingredients. Also very accommodating of gluten allergy. Would recommend!

Our server was not great, and this doesn’t feel like an individual issue it seemed more like a lack of management or proper customer service training. The pizza took a very long time to arrive, and when it finally did (along with the salad we ordered), we had no plates, olive oil, Parmesan, or basic table service.
We tried to get our server’s attention several times, but after waiting a while we ended up grabbing what we needed ourselves from her station. Later, when she came by to clear plates, she repeatedly asked if we were done with the olive oil and took it straight to another table. The bottle was about one-third full, which felt uncomfortable especially without wiping or resetting it.
We also had to go to the front to ask for the bill.
The food has potential, but I won’t be coming back.

This pizza was so good, I didn’t even get a chance to take a photo—it disappeared that fast! Easily the best pizza I’ve had in the Sea to Sky region. It had everything a proper pizza should: incredible flavor, perfectly charred crust, and just the right balance of toppings. If you’re a true pizza lover, this spot is a must-visit!

Huge YES to Joe Pestos pizza. The pizza is a massive 16 inches. Thick delicious crust, not at all bready, just light and delish. The topping on our pepperoni was really full of flavour, great sauce, wonderful cheese and fresh pepperoni.
Speedy service from a really lovely server and ready to collect in 20 minutes.
Great also to see the pizzas being made in front of you too.
The whole place looks clean and tidy and the resulting experience gets five stars from us.
