I drive up here in the snow for breakfast and they only have bowls “available”. I didn’t drive up here to be told I cannot have what I normally get for breakfast. I don’t want my food all mixed up in a bowl, I want my All Star Breakfast . So I drink a cup of coffee and after a while I decided to have a waffle and a side of sausage. They tell me I can’t get a side of sausage. So they can chop up sausage and put it in a bowl, but I can’t get two pieces of sausage? I said screw it and paid for my coffee and left. I’ll just have my breakfast somewhere else from now on

February 26th, 2022 – After calling the Forest City location & getting a recording telling me they were unable to take call in orders to please come in and place my order – I drove there only to find a sign on the door saying ” Dine in only “…. Frustratedly, I called the Rutherfordton to get the same recorded message. Drove from FC WH to Rutherford WH – went in , placed my order. They were BUSY. Basically every table was full. Bar had 4 seats open. There were 2 waitresses that were pleasant & one VERY unpleasant, rude one – claiming she’d worked there since October ( so she is obviously superior inside this WH location as her attitude seemed to portray. ) to some customers, whom were cursing at one of the waitresses. I’ve been to this location for MANNNNNNNY years. My food was delicious. I will return. I will recommend. Hopefully the waitresses can sort out whatever the issue was that day. We are all in this together…. Waffle House is supposed to be a vibe within itself, everyone knows that. The vibe was definitely off that day.

Due to health issues, I can’t consume many carbs. I asked the waitress if she could come up with a meal deal off the menu. I told her that usually I paid between $9 and $10. I also politely ask her not to go off Ali card. I ordered eggs over medium, bacon, and sausage. My bill was $14…
With tip, I paid $17 for 3 small pieces of bacon and 2 very small sausage medallions and eggs that had not been cooked properly.
I will not be returning to this place and highly don’t recommend it.

About a year ago I stopped going there. Two times I left my breakfast sitting at the table but paid in full with tip. Eggs were burnt and the bacon were noodles. Lately I tried them out again. Two meals went well. The one today, my over medium eggs were burnt and the bacon I asked to be crispy were again bacon noodles. Cant fix the eggs. But the bacon can be salvaged. I thought I’ll see how they respond to a legit request.
I pretty much had the eggs and hashbrowns eaten while i watched the manager/cook burn the bacon. As he handed it to the server, his own words were here’s that order of burnt bacon. So I said to myself when I pay, what I cant eat isn’t on me this time. The manager/cook copped an attitude went on a rant but said fine take it off. I paid my bill with a $5 tip. Never going back again.
