I stopped by Wadada Healthy Market & Juice Bar at the fair looking for a healthier option. The Boss Moss was delicious — I just wish the portion was a little bigger for the price. The veggie patty was spicy (as the staff mentioned), so we switched to the spinach patty, which was milder and tasty.

The gumbo soup had a unique and flavorful taste, but the eco-friendly paper cup it came in leaked and left residue on my glass table — I’d suggest switching to sturdier packaging.

Overall, the food was fresh and flavorful, though a bit expensive, and the customer service could be friendlier. With a few small adjustments, this could easily be a five-star spot.

Was looking up the time Wadada closes (I used to always go in the morning) and the reviews is like I experienced another place than everyone so let me go ahead and add a positive review because every time I go to Wadada I get excellent service. Even full blown out conversations. Sometimes teenagers work there, but it’s kind of common sense that teenagers aren’t always going to give the best service. I was a teenager once and didn’t understand the concept of customer service.

Anywho, every smoothie has sea moss in it so the price is higher than Tropical smoothie.. but tropical smoothie doesn’t have sea moss in all of their smoothies….

I would say go to Wadada if you don’t mind spending a minimum of $20-30 on yourself.

There’s literally a sign that says no cash accepted. So please bring a card.

The laundry detergent that they sell is absolutely AMAZING. The scent lasts beyond when you take it out the dryer.

I love that they sell incense here

Everything was immaculate from the greeting at the door, the vibes, the music and the service. I purchased a spinach patty. Something like a beef patty but it was vegan. Once biting into it, I couldn’t stop. I wanted to add a picture. I’ll do it next time. The staff was phenomenal. I found a hidden treasure in the west end area of Atlanta.

I ordered the pina passion smoothie at the recommendation of one of the staff members and it was delicious! 5/5

In general the overall Vibe of the store is super nice. Good playlist good energy. Good selection of natural products. Slightly expensive for me but I don’t think it’s out of the ordinary from what I’ve seen from other natural stores and products. I grabbed a couple boxes of incense and some soap in addition to my smoothie. It seems like they have good traffic and good support from the community as well.

This particular day they had a hot food vendor, but I did not tell them since I was on the go.

The area seems a little bit sketchy but nonetheless I would definitely return when I’m town.

After returning from vacation, I wanted to do find herb shop to boost my immune system back again. I purchased a Pina Passion smoothie with contained ginger and seamoss. It’s was really fresh and delicious. I also purchased some seafood soup, but it was more like a gumbo. It was okay, just needed some spice. Before I left the shop, I decided to purchased some tea that would help as a detox. Joy took the time to I put together a combination for me, explain the benefits and how to prepare it. This was first time here and definitely will not be my last.

I’ve visited Wadada on several occasions. They’re such a cool Plant-Based spot in the West End of Atlanta. It’s among my top 2 choices for wholesome and delicious smoothies. I appreciate that they add sea moss to many of their smoothies. The “Beet Bliss” smoothie is heavenly. You can also purchase separate jars of sea moss to take with you. They’re also known to carry a variety of other health conscious products that set them apart from the average smoothie bar. You’ll absolutely want to try their warm Jamaican patties. Of all the times I’ve visited, I’ve never encountered bad customer service. They have the best vegan ice-cream, I recommend “Pecan Dream”. If you’re considering Wadada and want to support a Black-Owned business, it’s worth the visit.

Today marks my very last visit to Wadada, and I feel compelled to share the appalling experience that has led to my decision to never return. On a beautiful Friday, my husband, in an effort to do something kind, decided to surprise me with some ice cream from Wadada, knowing I enjoy their vegan banana pudding flavor. Unfortunately, what should have been a simple, sweet gesture turned into an unforgettable and unpleasant ordeal.

When I began eating my ice cream, I didn’t initially notice anything wrong. However, after a few bites, I turned the cup around and discovered a price sticker on the inside with the words “double scoop and $11.95.” At that moment, it became clear that the cup I was eating from was an old demo cup, one that had been sitting out at Wadada for who knows how long, used only to help customers decide on their scoop size. I had already consumed about a third of the ice cream before realizing this, and to say I was disgusted would be an understatement.

My husband called the establishment to address the issue, and while they did offer an apology, it was far from enough. The only “resolution” offered was a refund to my husband’s card, which was the bare minimum response given the severity of the situation. There was no explanation of how such an oversight could happen and no genuine effort to rectify the situation in a meaningful way. Their response felt more like a formality than an actual attempt to make things right.

This experience has completely shattered my trust in Wadada, and I can’t imagine ever returning. A simple apology and a refund aren’t enough when it comes to food safety and customer care. I strongly advise anyone considering this establishment to think twice–what should have been a pleasant experience ended in disgust and a complete lack of accountability.
