Welcome to Zapata Mexican Restaurant on Valleydale Road! We are a local family owned and operated business. We are proud to be a part of the Oak Mountain – Hoover – Pelham area since 1996! We are conveniently located at Valleydale Road and Hwy 31. We serve over 100 authentic Mexican dishes to choose from! We’ve driven by here many times. We stopped in tonight and ate dinner. Food was great! I had the chicken enchiladas and the wife had a chicken burrito with verde sauce. It was delicious! Service was great! Kelly was wonderful so be sure to ask for her.

Great service. Quick table service. We ordered the steak burrito w/ verde sauce, cheese enchilada,, and grilled tilapia. The food was okay. We also tried the queso dip which has a hint of spice. The rice was a little overcooked for our taste and could do without the peas and carrots.
