I was home sick that day. I live essentially across the road from that location, so I planned to walk to pick it up. My husband had my car that day for work.
Anyway, as soon as I placed the order, I KNEW it was the wrong location & called Massena.
The girl (because no grown, mature, woman would’ve treated a customer that way) on the phone was very combative. She said her manager was not at the store at that time and wouldn’t be in for the rest of the day, so a refund couldn’t be issued, unless I came to their Massena location.
She urged me to call the 800 number for assistance.
I did that. The customer service agent explained that while it was a mobile order, unfortunately that location is privately owned & they couldn’t issue any refunds, as a result. I called the store back.
She said she would contact her manager and have someone call me back. It was now roughly 9:30.
I waited ALL DAY for that call back. It never came.
So, not only was I out of pocket because this employee couldn’t be bothered to do the job she’s paid to do, but I wasted the day awake when I should’ve been resting to recover from my viral infection.
This is not the 1st issue I’ve had at the Massena location. Along with robbing their customers, they also don’t listen when customers place orders in the drive-thru.
I can’t tell u how many times I’ve ordered a hot coffee & asked for 4×4 & gotten black coffee, or coffee with barely any creamer & sugar in it.
It’s ridiculous! Plus u wait FOREVER for your order there…even if it’s just for a drink! Makes no sense.
Idk if the manager was ever contacted about this situation…being that nobody ever called me back and it’s not my job to call them & tell them to do their job.
I just hope she fires whoever that GIRL was who was dismissive and rude on the phone. That should NOT be the way you treat customers when in a customer service position. Unacceptable!
And while I’d LOVE to get my money back…because times are tough these days, let’s be real…it’s not worth the headache of dealing with those types of employees who are going to make me feel like I was in the wrong simply for asking for them to do their job job they’re paid to do . God forbid should they EARN their pay
I will not be buying gift cards from that location this year, as we do every year. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere…where my money is more appreciated & the workers actually care about their customers.
We will definitely stop in whenever we are passing through town. Thanks for doing such a great job!
