We chose Spring House as the venue for an intimate reception dinner following our small wedding. Everything was absolutely amazing.

1. Planning: Elizabeth, the in-house event manager was lovely to work with. From initial outreach through the event, she helped us choose a space, menus, etc. and was always responsive to our inquiries.
2. Setup/day of: the Spring House team coordinated with our floral vendor, and made sure everything was set up perfectly upon our arrival, including placing our own printed menus & place cards, and setting up the cake.
3. Food & beverage: we had been to the Spring House before so we knew what to expect, but they absolutely came through for our dinner. Cocktails/bar service, passed hors d’oeuvres, and dinner were amazing. Especially the mini BLT sliders and steak!
4. Service: I really wish I could remember the name of our server so I could properly shout her out, but she singlehandedly managed all aspects of service for 15 for the entire night, and did so FLAWLESSLY. I really don’t know how she did it, but she was amazing; so sweet and fun to talk to, and made all of the details of the night flow smoothly.

Note: florals/tablescapes & cake were provided by external vendors.

We had a fantastic meal at Spring House last night. We ate in the bar and it was a really lovely environment: very cozy and very classic. All of the staff at the restaurant were professional and very nice. We will be back! The food was all delicious. We shared a few small plates and they were very tasty and generous portions.

We had another great meal at Spring House last night. This time we were with another couple and shared some apps and entrees. Every bite was delicious. We especially loved the tuna & tots and the meatloaf. We’re still talking about that meatloaf today! Shelby was a great server. He was personable and a real professional. It was also so nice to see Diane! Spring House is on our go to list now!

We tried this restaurant today and absolutely loved it! The sushi tuna potato tots were soooo good, super crispy on the outside and perfectly seasoned, with fresh tuna that melted in your mouth. The flavors were creative and really well-balanced. Definitely a must try dish! I just wish the entrée plates had a bit more flavor, but overall it was a great experience and we’d come back again.

I was at this restaurant for a pharmaceutical dinner so my review is based on that. I love the location and ambience, and the food was good. Though the menu I had was limited, I wish their protein options included meat and not just fish and chicken.

Granted, I did not get the chance to look at the full menu, but most places for pharmaceutical dinners had beef options.

I ordered the chicken and waffles and this was delicious. The lobster bisque was also excellent.

Great experience at Spring House. We were late to our reservation and last patrons in the restaurant, but the staff and kitchen accommodated us. The service was attentive and the food was delicious, although that had a fairly limited gluten free options.

I’ve always wanted to go to Spring House and finally made it happen. The ambience was comforting, relaxing and very beautiful with cool paintings in every room! The bar tender was great and drinks were well mixed.
The food was very poorly prepared. We had the roasted oyster small plate and they were over cooked and very fishy. This is one of my favorite dishes to have out and we should have sent it back. We also had the beef cheeks small plate and it was a disappointment. It was tender but very under seasoned. The grit cake flavorless and the au jus tasted like it had been made with something like “better with bullion” and not been sufficiently mixed. For entrees we had the special of fettuccine with lobster and shrimp, the seafood was terribly over cooked and the sauce was very fishy. There should be nothing fishy about shrimp or lobster. We also had the lamb entree. It was served below room temperature and itwas chewy. The best entree we had at the table was catfish, but when you took a fork to it every bit of the crust fell off. The beans and greens that came with it were very sweet which was unexpected for a typically savory dish.
Overall, I was terribly disappointed that a $350 meal could be so poorly executed.

We dined here for our anniversary and knew cost would be higher, but for a special occasion, that was fine. Beautiful location, cozy inside, and great atmosphere.
Our service was great, but the food was disappointing. We purchased two appetizers. One was the beef cheeks, it was good, the other Tuna and Tots which was the best dish we had. It was delicious but these were tater tots you could get anywhere. We did enjoy the house salad, the pickled onions that came with it were delicious.
For our entree, one was the special, filet mignon, that was dry with no flavor, with dry mashed potatoes. Our other was chicken and shrimp. The shrimp was delicious, the chicken lacked flavor. The grits that came with it were okay, fairly dry.
We loved the location and historic atmosphere, however, very disappointed with the food.

If you have never had a chef’s tasting here, DO IT! You will be tremendously rewarded for leaving the decisions of the meal in the hand of an expert like Chef Tim, and his staff. We had so many thoughtful courses that offered a glimpse into where the chef is currently being creative with seafood and pork. Who knows…maybe there will be a surprise aperitif (the surprise is that there will be more food after you drink it) Don’t even get me started on the chocolate cake and ooey gooey cake dessert course that none of us thought we had room for. After one bite, we knew we had to find a way. So many incredible presentations, our server was wonderful, and everyone was helpful, warm and inviting. Such a special meal. Such a special place.

Nice venue, definitely will go back to visit. Super creative and delicious app in Lobster Spring roll with Thai curry dipping sauce. Hats off for chucks of lobster w/ the sauce worth the price. The wine list was quite approachable and reasonably priced. The shrimp & grits were quite tasty, I give it a slight edge over Mozelles S&G. Portion size for the price was right and look forward to the seasonal menu changes.

Lovely time spent here! Service was excellent, food was even better, and the homey atmosphere was very nice. The outdoor area was a beautiful spot to walk through to get inside, and inside was laid out in a way that everyone feels they’re in a private room. No complaints here!
