Ive been meaning to try this place. Did not disappoint! We had a party of 5 food came out quick, fast and fresh. I ordered the shrimp tacos. These shrimp tacos are a knockout from the first glance to the last bite. The shrimp was slightly over cooked, lightly charred. The fresh pico adds brightness, the shredded cabbage brings a satisfying crunch. A generous sprinkle of cilantro ties it all together, while the lime wedge adds that final hit of acidity that makes each bite feel balanced and fresh. The fluffy, well-seasoned Mexican rice and creamy refried beans topped with a touch of queso fresco was perfect. The side of chipotle-style crema is smooth and slightly smoky, perfect for drizzling over the tacos or dipping on the side. Overall, this is was a satisfying and fresh dish, these shrimp tacos absolutely delivered. Ill be returning to try other items on the menu.

The chicken was good and had some flavor. The rice was also good and the fried beans were flavorful too. I enjoyed the empanadas as well. The big disappointment was the fried snapper. It had absolutely zero flavor and tasted very plain. Service was a little slow, but the staff was friendly at least. The restaurant has potential, but some dishes definitely need improvement.

This place was amazing, has a cozy feel. Two nice bars, outdoor seating as well. The seating inside was very comfy. Staff was excellent, and very attentive. Free refills on horchata, which by the way was delicious. The only gripe I have is, the live music made it had to carry a conversation. Don’t get me wrong the guitarist was awesome, just couldn’t have a decent conversation with my group.

Yescenia was our server and she was wonderful! Will ask for her again. She paid close attention to what specifically I was ordering because of my food allergies and when my food arrived it was exactly the same at I ordered and it was delicious. I was with my mom and sister and they were very happy with their food choice as well. We even ordered a round of Mexican candy Jell-O shots for fun and they were very flavorful.

Food was good. Selection of weekend brunch options was great! Service was pleasant. Atmosphere was good but the live music was FAR too loud. Could not hold any kind of conversation with our table mates.

Absolutely lives up to its name, a true treasure! This is our go-to place for upper scale latin dining for sure. Highly recommend the chicken Enchiladas El Verde! The atmosphere is perfect as well, many leftovers from the previous Mi Mi’s ( I think) restaurant make this a very pleasurable place to dine. Beautiful and tastefully done dining room! Perfect date night dining or out of town visitor place to enjoy!!

Such a wonderful experience at this beautiful local restaurant! We waited a few minutes to be seated and looked around at the beautiful inside of the restaurant in the meantime. They have a really nice sitting/mingling area with really pretty and comfy chairs! Once seated our waitress immediately took our drink order. At the appropriate time she came back and took our order. We got complimentary chips and salsa, super delicious and with a kick! Our enchiladas were out in about 15-20 minutes. Plenty of time to eat some chips and sip our cocktails. The flan for dessert was plated so beautifully and was just delicious! Would 100% recommend and will be visiting again. Thank you for the great service!

First time being here and was pleasantly surprised. Was skeptical on how the atmosphere would be since this took over a Mimi’s Cafe. Great esthetics!!! Very well done! The Cantina part comes in with the food and drinks but looks like a fun modern lounge.
I don’t say this lightly, the Micheladas were excellent!! Was here for a large party and the chilaquiles were tasty too! This to me was border food with a modern flare.
Well done Tesoro!

Had a blast at Tesoro on a Saturday night! The frozen mango margarita and guava pie from their Cubano menu were amazing, and our server James was hilarious and super attentive (bonus points for the dangerously good recc on the “Mexican candy” jello shots). Loved the mix of DJ beats, TVs for the U of A game, and live music with dancing on the patio. Can’t wait to come back and try the full menu!

A very appealing, clean, family run restaurant with wonderful food.
We had Saturday brunch, and arrived before Tesoro opened. So, the folks there were kind enough to invite us to sit inside out of the Sun and hot.
When 10:00 am came around we were seated promptly and courteously, and the waitress came quickly. She brought out drinks just as quickly and took our order … and very soon came our food.
All of us were impressed with the portions and quality of the food.
I was especially happy with the Chicken Mole … while it is not the spiciest Mole I have had, it had a good flavor and the chicken is the most tender of any chicken I have ever had anywhere. Period.
We realiy enjoyed the Mole, the enormous breakfast burritos, and the remarkably large breakfast sandwich and potatoes.
Highly recommended!!!
