Such a cool spot! The restaurant is set inside a beautifully preserved old general store, which makes the whole experience feel really special. The staff were incredibly kind and took the time to share the history of the building with us, which we loved. Service was super fast, the steaks were excellent, and everything about the visit felt welcoming and memorable. So glad we found this place — definitely a special gem in Campbell County!

Trust your GPS ! You may think your are lost before you find this restaurant, but it is worth the trip! The restaurant itself is in an old country store (kind of like one my grandparents operated) that dates back to 1890. The nostalgia is great and the food and service is amazing. They are open only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We got there about 3:15 on a Friday and there weren’t many people there so we had our choice of seats. The people were very welcoming and friendly and the food and service were fantastic. A friend had recommended the Ribeye so I ordered that. My wife had a cheeseburger. We shared an onion petals appetizer (better than Outback or Texas Roadhouse). I had mashed potatoes and creamed corn as sides. We both had fried apple pies for dessert. Everything was great and I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great country restaurant, that is worth the short drive from Columbia. Rib eye steak was as good as they come. Fried pie with ice cream was a great desert! Arrived right at 11 on Sunday, and it was busy inside pretty quick. Nice touch is no cell service in the area, so it was nice to enjoy a meal and talk.

This place, where do I start.. Fantastic for starters. I ordered the steak rare and it was so juicy, cream corn 10/10, even the fries, because I am not big on Baked Potato. But wow, I found this place on line at random and had to check it out. It’s a little hidden Gem in the hills of Tennessee. It’s a must if you love steak Michelin star style l, with classic country homemade vibes.

We love the steak here. We do not order steak anywhere else. The staff is so friendly. They treat you like you’re family. It is worth your drive, just ask those that come from other states! Try the dirty rice, it’s a new favorite of mine!

We have been to many places to eat, this place hands down is my new favorite! I know this is a bit of a drive for most. I promise you, you will leave fully satisfied. The food portions are large. If you leave hungry that will be your fault. We had the sweetest waitress. The folks working the register were great as well. We will be back! I know you all will enjoy this place as much as we did!

Words can not describe this place. We walked in and it was a breath of fresh air. We was immediately greeted by the manager or owner I believe. He immediately made us feel like we were at home. After being seated and listening and watching other guests I said to myself this is what it should be like! People were enjoying themselves and having a good meal The next part was the manager/owner not sure walking around and making sure everyone was happy. Our food was delicious. This is place you have to go visit and enjoy a meal. It will not disappoint. We drove from Birmingham Alabama This trip made our day just going there and experiencing the atmosphere. Everyone was super nice and the place is very nostalgic. I believe it was built in the early 30s and has a lot of history!
