My husband and I went to Ginger Bistro on a weekend trip to St. Augustine from Jacksonville and it was so delicious! Everything we ate was very flavorful, fresh and filling without being too heavy.
My favorite roll was the Lucky 7. It’s torched salmon wrapped around mango and scallops. 10/10! If you love salmon rolls you will enjoy this one for sure. The other MUST GET roll is the Tuna Trinity. It’s not really a roll, it has crispy rice on the bottom and three different types of tuna layered with avocado. I’ve never seen sushi served this way and I can’t wait to try it again.
We also got the salmon skin roll (incredible umami smokiness), a spicy salmon and the Jimmy Smith roll, which was fried but extremely clean, crispy and flavorful without being heavy or greasy. All the rolls were 10/10 and I don’t say that lightly.
My husband and I have eaten at many many sushi restaurants, he’s even been to Nobu and he agrees that this was top 3 sushi restaurants we’ve ever been to. We’d make the drive down to St. Augustine for this place again. I definitely plan to come back and try the ramen. The chef took a break and ate a huge bowl of ramen so you know it’s good!
The staff were very friendly and courteous, everything was clean and the food came out fast. I 100% recommend this place, especially if you’re within a reasonable driving distance to St. Augustine!

We were visiting St Augustine for the first time and I wanted some ramen. The first place we attempted was rather pretentious and said they were reservation only… OK, we really dodged a bullet by not eating there and finding this gem instead! And in the end we both ordered sushi rolls and they were delicious! I got the happy wife and my husband got the spider roll and the holy moly roll. Great staff, nice location- est here!

If I could give this place more stars, I would. From the greeting at the door to the fast, friendly service and the most delicious sushi, seaweed salad and clear soup I’ve ever tasted! 10/10 would highly recommend. Reasonably priced, as well!

We ordered to-go on Christmas Day and it arrived within 45 minutes.
The food was fantastic. The rolls were fresh tasting, the ramen was delicious and the fried rice was awesome. I will warn people that when they describe it as spicy- they mean Spicy. My husband I love that so it was a pleasant surprise.

I love getting a nice dinner. They have a great variety of food options. They have some of the best specials sushi rolls and ramen noodles. I highly recommend checking them out.

I had the BEST birthday dinner & lunch (yes it was so amazing that we went back the next day) at Ginger Bistro this past weekend with my husband. All the dishes were delicious, high quality, and thoughtfully put together like art. All the staff members were attentive and friendly. It was such a special and memorable experience, thank you all very much!!

We are in town for just two days and decided on Japanese/Chinese cuisine to meet our palate. By luck, we found Ginger Bistro and we could not have been more pleased not only with our meals (Ramen and Szechuan), but the personal touch by the wait staff.
We arrived early, but by the time we left it was clear that this was a popular restaurant by the locals, hardly a seat was open. Not sure we will ever have the opportunity to return to the area, but if we did we’d certainly return to the Ginger Bistro.

We came for a date night last night. The food was absolutely delicious! The jalapeño poppers were a new experience in a delightful way. A lady that was working, but not our server (she sounded like an owner or general manager) had a lovely conversation with us and made us feel most welcome. The sauces definitely tasted made in house and not from a bottle. Hubby is currently chowing down on some left overs exclaiming that it’s his new favorite restaurant.
