Waldschänke Ciders & Coffee is a really special spot—thoughtful ciders, great coffee, and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that invites you to slow down. The European-inspired vibe and attention to craft come through in everything they do, from the drinks to the space itself. I’m an artist and had my work displayed here, which speaks to how much they value local creativity and community. A great place to meet up, hang out, and enjoy something well made.

I am so glad my friend invited me to Waldschänke for a weekday bingo event. I have never heard of the place and it is a little hidden so I would have never found it if it wasn’t for her.

The place is really chill and also has a coffee shop in the same building. It looks like a good amount of people work out of there. Plenty of seating, patio that is dog friendly, and good food. What else can you ask for?!

The bingo event was fun and well run by the host. You can even play doubles by using the physical board and going online. I never win anything and won a free 4 pack which I redeemed today. I’ll definitely be back for an event or to just hang out with friends. Cheers!

Fun little cidery with a cool, relaxed vibe. I had a sweet cider with beetroot that was amazing and my wife a dry that she also really liked. We also had a pesto and tomato flatbread sprinkled with balsamic vinegar that was so good I almost ordered another! Great music (not live, just over speakers ) and friendly people made this our best stop of the day!

Love coming here for trivia night on Thursdays! There are a good amount of NA drinks for sober people, and the trivia vibe is not based on drinking. The kitchen is a bit slow but I think it’s worth it, and the prices are SUPER fair. I ordered food through their app and there was a small tech error that overcharged for added cheese. Called the next morning and it was fixed quickly and the gentlemen on the phone were very nice.

If you’re going for trivia, call beforehand to reserve a table and try to arrive a bit early because the parking is denver parking so you’ll need a minute to find a place and walk over.

This place is awesome! I saw a really funny comedy show there that they have once a month. Seems like they have a lot of cool events going on. I’m a coffee snob, they roast their own beans, and my latte was very good. The food was also delicious. I got some cider to go and another home run. To top it off the staff was phenomenal. I will definitely be back.

Delicious ciders and food! Love that it’s also a coffee shop. This would be a great place for me to set up shop on my laptop to get some work done. Loved the Purple Rain, Limoncello Ginger, and Pearadox ciders the most!

Holy smokes, the Kase Spatzle (swiss mac and cheese) was amazing!
Loved the soft pretzel. Classic. But I personally didn’t enjoy the dipping sauce. (Pretzel was still good on its own).

I recently visited Waldschänke Ciders & Coffee in Denver and had a generally positive experience. Here’s a breakdown.

What I liked:

The coffee was good — I’d give it a 4 out of 5.

The food was tasty and well done; the European-inspired kitchen hits the mark with a cozy vibe and thoughtful flavors.

The space is welcoming and relaxed, true to their “simple, honest, full of heart” philosophy.

Location: comfortable setting, easy to make yourself at home.

What could be improved:

I love dogs and appreciate pet-friendly businesses, but I noticed dogs being brought inside the café. Because this is a food & drink service area, this is a health-code issue.

To preserve the great quality and friendly atmosphere, it might be wise for the business to clarify or enforce a policy about pets in the indoor seating area.

Overall

I will definitely be back — it’s a solid spot for coffee, food, and a laid-back time. With a small improvement in clarity around their pet policy, Waldschänke could enhance the comfort and safety of all guests.

Visited mid 2025, good place. As someone from the West Country of England where cider is traditionally as popular as beer I was very impressed by Waldschänke. The perry was to die for. Really nice staff & owner too.

Had a really chill Saturday afternoon with friends. Drinks were tasty. We had 2 flights and ordered food. It was a really nice vibe. Everyone was friendly. It was dog friendly. I am scared of dogs, but the dogs were very well mannered and owners were sweet. A very well taken care of spot. You’ll enjoy it!

Love the food, service and atmosphere. Came here multiple times for both breakfast and dinner on my last trip out to Colorado. A great hidden gem. Their coffee is great, they are extremely dog friendly (there seemed to always be a furry friend waiting in line to get their dog treat, while I was ordering my coffee), and their dinner and breakfast menus were both fantastic. I loved the Swiss Breakfast Rösti and the cider doughnuts, and for dinner, the Cheese Spätzle was incredible.
