We went here last night for Valentine’s Day dinner, Prix Fixe $95/person and we left disappointed and still hungry afterwards. For what we paid, the portions were extremely small. We both got the lobster bisque to start and it was maybe half a cup of soup. It was definitely different than any other lobster bisque I’ve had so I appreciated the uniqueness of it but if you’re looking for a traditional lobster bisque, this was not it. We also both got the scallops as our entree and it was 3 scallops with a creamy sauce and a few pieces of arugula. The scallops were delicious but the portion of this was more like an appetizer being it was 3 scallops. Overall the food was good but it was way overpriced for what we got which makes us not want to return.

We went for a dinner with the parents. Everything was beautiful when we walked in, greeted by friendly people, sat immediately, and recommendations on popular dishes were given. Comfy booths, amazing menu, strong/interesting drinks. The bread is made there and fresh. Best elk I have ever had! And the desserts… I didn’t have room… but I made room. Wow. Thank you!

Had the most incredible dinner tonight at The Regent — what a fantastic addition to Saratoga Springs! My girlfriend and I each had a soup, shared a salad, and enjoyed an amazing mocktail (highly recommend!). The bread basket is an absolute must. The ambiance, the beauty of the space, and the attentiveness of the staff made it such a memorable evening. Truly a 10 out of 10 experience. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially for a nice dinner or special occasion. Instantly one of my new favorite spots in town.

A truly exceptional dining experience. We visited this magnificent restaurant repeatedly during our hotel stay, and it consistently impressed. The atmosphere is one of undeniable prestige—an elevated setting that makes any meal feel like an occasion. The kitchen upholds a high standard, serving fresh, delicious food; the burger, onion dip, carrots, and cauliflower salad were all outstanding examples. I wanted to like this restaurant a lot more than I did. The salad was good – well dressed. The Berkshire smoked pork was very dry, scallops were bland and under seasoned with an off flavor in there – sort of medicinal, the toast served with the beef tartare was burnt. The best thing we ate was the foie gras mousse. For the prices of these dishes they were wildly off the mark flavor wise and in execution. The menu and descriptions definitely over sell.

From the moment I walked in, the experience was flawless start to finish. Jose was a wonderful host and greeted me immediately, and Arnole was a fantastic server. The service was truly phenomenal. Any questions I had were answered and the staff was very knowledgeable about all the food and cocktails. The food was truly stellar, can’t recommend the crab omelette enough. Can’t wait to come back

I truly hate writing this review but I was very disappointed in the valentines evening at your restaurant. We sat down and the waitress who was great, told us we had to place our full order as the Chef wanted it that way. I am paying for an evening of dining and he is dictating how I will place my order! The bisque was awful. The salad great ! The
Chateaubriand was cooked perfectly we were offered a lobster tail to add on which was delicious but was priced at $95 (insane), the dessert was great except they must have realized they were going to run out so ours was half the size of the people sitting next to us…our reservation was for 5:45 we were cashed out by 7:15. All for an evening to relax…

Valentines dinner. The service was ok. Our server was very nice, a bit short handed. The Chateau- Briand was ordered medium, came out almost well, ….but still good. The “ lobster tail off a 3 lb lobster”, was at best, off a 1 lb lobster, and probably 10 mins over cooked. But the great part is, it was $95. Yes, $95. I’m not sure if I should be more embarrassed because I’m admitting I paid that for an extra lobster tail, or you should be more embarrassed for charging that!? Very disappointing.

I was blown away! Food was amazing; oysters were the freshest they could be, bread basket worth the money! Pork chop entree, short rib and steak entrees all exceeded expectations!!!!! Jessica, our server was right on top of everything! Will definitely be back!!!
