The food is fine, but the receptionists are getting increasingly rude at this place. Especially there’s this older woman in black spectacles that will not even greet you if you enter the restaurant (and treats you quite poorly, unless you look well dressed). It used to a be joy to dine here when there were better people in the reception.

On December 9, 2025, I was supposed to pick up my order from Panera Bread, but I told the manager and staff that my order was ready, and I asked why they weren’t giving it to me. They responded disrespectfully, saying I would have to wait, and used rude language like “you need to learn to wait.” I hope the general manager of this location sees this message and takes appropriate action. These people are driving away customers with their lack of understanding, and I will tell everyone I know about this situation.

My professor always goes here but I have no idea why. It’s just your average panera with mediocre soups and breads. to each their own but it gets way too crowded for kids. Still, the worker at the front was very nice so 3/5 stars.

We, Uber Eats and DoorDash drivers, are experiencing racism at this restaurant; they are refusing to hand over ready orders. This needs to be investigated. If this happens a few more times, 10 of my colleagues and I will contact our lawyers and file a complaint!

This is hands down the best Panera I have ever visited and I can safely say I have been to at least 20 different Paneras! Friendly staff! Helpful! Both times I visited the amount of food seemed larger than other Paneras! I couldn’t eat all of my chicken pesto ciabatta dipper! (Although I have to admit I think I was shorted on the dipping sauce because it only lasted for half the sandwich)! The restaurant was also very clean. This will be my go to Panera when in the Sacramento area.

One of our kid’s favorite restaurants to stop at since they know the menu and love their chicken soup in a bread bowl. This was the nicest, cleanest Panera we’ve ever been too. The staff was friendly and our order came out quickly and accurate. We didn’t even have to wait when kids went for a second order of the soup. Will definitely visit again.

I ordered the Family Feast with two half cheesesteak sandwiches and two half chicken avocado sandwiches. The chicken avocado sandwiches were fine, but the cheesesteak ones were horrible—the baguette was old. The size of the half sandwiches was too small‼️ The only thing I liked was the broccoli soup. Also, the restaurant smelled really bad.

Men’s restroom toilet has a strong sewer odor that needs to be fixed. Apparently the county Health dept already came out last week, but nothing has been done. It has only gotten worse.

I ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. This is a $7 sandwich. So why is there barely a single piece of bacon on it? And the bread was slighlty burnt. Please tell me if the item i received looks close to the advertised photo. Also had to wait 20 minutes for an order I placed in store, when there was only two people waiting ahead of me.
