I went to Chipotle, but the service was extremely terrible. The cashier was very rude and unprofessional, which made the experience unpleasant. On top of that, the store was not clean at all. Overall, very disappointing service and environment. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves customer service and cleanliness.

Went here yesterday during my lunch on 12/23/26 around 12pm. When I was ready to pay, they charged my partner and I $15 (we had a coupon for 1 bowl already). A chicken bowl is always around ~$12. So my partner looks at the receipt and see that they charged us for guac. When we told them we didn’t get guac, the girl who finished our bowl on the assembly line kept nodding that she put guac in the bowl. I told them neither of us asked for guac. Then the Spanish speaking manager, Virla or something, started arguing with my partner in Spanish. She manhandled our bowls and opened them in front of us. They had no guac in them. She kept claiming we ordered guac, when in reality when she opened it and neither of us had the guac. She then tried to double down when my partner told her she was blaming us for no reason and basically calling us liars. She kept saying she wasn’t blaming us but after the way she opened our food she obviously was accusing us when we were innocent. All over $3 guac. Crazy. Then the other manager, a blonde woman, came and refunded us. Terrible experience. I don’t know how she speaks to customers like that, as if the guac comes out of her paycheck. I did not like how the assembly line girl kept nodding along as if we were lying, the whole time she is the liar claiming she put guac when she didn’t and we never asked for it either. Extremely disrespectful experience and they didn’t apologize for it either. They did nothing to make it better, just a refund which we WERE ENTITLED TO. They should have done more after disrespecting us so much.

This particular Chipotle location is SUPER stingy with portion sizes and staff is extremely rude. Nothing about this dining experience is pleasing. I live closer to this location (0.8 mi) but I’d rather go to the Sutter location over twice the distance away just so I don’t have to deal with this place. Doordashing is EVEN worse, not kidding – in the pic I got queso and honey chicken and there were maybe like 4 pieces of meat in there total.

One of the worst run place everyone with an attitude and they don’t even know their prices as well and I just ordered a beef taco and she literally! Out 3 beef pieces what the hell and when I asked how much is extra meet they said 6.00 more than the taco itself what a Roborry who owns this place this is unacceptable because of this I will no longer ever eat from chipotle again from now on am go real Mexican restaurant where the food and service is quality. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT eat at this location. I usually only leave reviews for very good or very bad experiences. This location is not only unsanitary, but the customer service is terrible. I had no idea how bad this location was until my experience and reading the other reviews. I feel disgusted that I’ve eaten from this location plenty of times without knowing how dirty it was.
There was a bug in my food, and when the manager was informed she showed NO sense of urgency to resolve the problem. Not only did she immediately tell me she could not issue a refund, but she was also dismissive in an “oh well” tone about the ordeal.
The good thing is that reaching out to chipotle support was fast, and they did care about resolving the issue.
I don’t want anyone to get sick eating at this location so it’s on my conscience to post this so someone else can see.

We went when it wasn’t busy and they were out of every protein except steak, my kiddo and I usually get barbacoa. The guy making our food was soft spoken and couldnt be heard to tell him what we wanted. The manager stood by the register talking to the cashier while the line got backed up and the soft spoken guy struggled to get orders right. Luckily this isn’t my local store and I won’t have to come back to this spot.

Only ingredients you can actually pronounce, fresh, organic, and free-range — that’s what keeps me coming back. The grilled chicken burrito bowl (with a tortilla on the side, of course) is a total life-saver. Fast, consistent, and always hits the spot without feeling heavy.

I regularly order catering from this Geary location. Their proteins are always disproportionately less than the lettuce or rice. The order on10/13/2025 was late and the chicken was missing from the catering order. I couldn’t get a resolution either by phone or via chatbot. Their chatbots are terrible. The order field couldn’t recognize a correct order number! The rep on the phone (yep! I tried by phone, too!) couldn’t resolve the issue because no one would answer from the restaurant. So no chicken and still no refund!!!! May have to go elsewhere for Mexican food catering.
