I’ve been coming here once a year over the past few years (for conference) and Rendezvous never disappoints.
Consistently great service, tasty small plates and pizza, and amazing drinks.
I always get the smoked old fashioned because it’s a two-in-one (show and a wonderful drink), but this time I also tried the Rye and Ginger, which was delightfully strong, with a powerful ginger flavor.
On the food side, I really enjoyed the Kung Pao Lettuce Wraps and Mushroom Bruschetta, but the crown goes to the Creme Brulee – I think it was the pistachio cream and the scrumptious (slightly salty) ‘nest’ the raspberry sits in that made this version so special.

Perfect spot to land after checking in and shaking off the travel vibes. The food’s pulled straight from the main restaurant, so you’re getting the good stuff without the wait. Drinks are savory. A little loud, but in that fun. Definitely the move for a laid-back night in.

While I can’t say whether there is food here or not, the few times I’ve visited the Rendezvous have been for drinks. I love the vibe of this place- it’s beautifully set up, and many nights they have live Jazz. This is one of those places where I think to go when I want to relax with a delicious cocktail

I’m not sure if the lettuce wrap was trying to be a taco or an Asian-style lettuce wrap, but the flavor was extremely disappointing. For a place with a limited menu, they really need to step up their game.

Very elegant lounge bar in the Amway hotel. The staff is not the most attentive, but the drinks are very interesting and flavourful. It’s a great place to grab a drink if you’re staying at the hotel or out near downtown. The vibe is very relaxed

If you find yourself by the Amway, make the Rendezvous a stop. Fantastic drink selection and knowledgeable staff will get you set with whatever you fancy. Be it a bite, a brew, or cocktails for two, the place to be is the Rendezvous.

Very disappointed with the service I had. For the “upscale” atmosphere the only thing nice we had was our drinks. We had a table for our work dinner and it was shared with other guest so more than half of our table was standing.
We ordered a pizza and it took over an hour for the pizza to come out. I asked my boyfriend if we could just have the pizza taken off our bill and leave due to the fact our friends had all left for our next reservation and we still didn’t have our food and she rudely interrupted and said “no.” I’m not quite sure if we will be revisiting due to the service we received.

Wine and mixed drink bar, very nice just off the lobby of the hotel, food from Wolfgang Pucks restaurant. Very comfortable and friendly staff. Great meeting-up place.
