A more dated type of establishment when it comes to decor. I bought my doughnuts after 1 pm. 1 chocolate glaze, 1 cream filled and 1 chocolate peanut butter. They were all fine but I enjoyed the Cream one the most. If I lived in that region I would buy again and in the morning.

My first experience with a Donut Connection was at this location recently, and there was a lot of hype for me. Long story short, I had driven past this shop a few years ago on the way to visit family, but didn’t have the chance to visit. Years later, I’m called back to this town, and getting a donut becomes a priority.
At 10:00 or so on a Tuesday morning, the line was long. Still, you could tell that staff were working as effectively as possible. One person helped me with my donut order after I learned that Boston creme was out, and that was greatly appreciated.
The chocolate glazed donut I ordered was cakey and thick, in a great way. Another donut with a cream filling was also good—heavier than Krispy Kreme but enjoyable. The coffee was totally fine.
All in all, the hype was lived up to, if not exceeded. Donut Connection will forever be remembered as a pleasant donut shop in my mind.
