Ugh. I’ll assume they got a new restaurant manager because they always try to put their stamp on some things, in this case it’s a dumbed down menu. There’s so many things missing in all categories that made this a special place to eat. With the exception of the two Serbian dishes, the new menu reads similar to a Denny’s or IHOP now. At least the vibe is still upscale. Full liquor bar, and live entertainment a few nights a week. Watch your clock though, they are now closing at 8pm ♂️ even old fashioned Cracker Barrel is open until 10pm . If it was summertime, it’s still daylight an hour and half past their closing. Probably another new manager flag to cut expenses right away…

Came in for a ‘light lunch’ and ordered the chicken philly and a bowl of their gumbo. Big mistake . I’ll be completely full after the sandwich, and the gumbo is a whole meal by itself. Both were pretty decent, service great as always!

I had the fish and chips. The fish was very dry. Not enjoyable at all. It was like I was only eating the batter. Very thick.
Also it’s the first time I get served fish and chips without a lemon wedge or salt and vinegar.
Tartar sauce and the fries were ok.
The staff was friendly and professional. The place was clean.
Prices are fair.
Overall it is not a bad restaurant for a truck stop.

The food was so good I didn’t even care that our duo appetizer was wrong. I did want to try the onion rings but you can’t go wrong with fried cheese of any kind. The country fried steak was hand breaded and the gravy from scratch, I know because I could taste it We plan on going back for breakfast on our way out tomorrow.

Stopped by here for lunch on Sunday. Ordered the All-American burger with everything on it and fries. Crunchy fries are so good with ketchup. The burger patty was well seasoned and nicely smoked flavor. DELICIOUS.

So it was a little slow as far as the service goes. They’re kind of having a little bit of problems on the computer side of things it seems. The quality of the service and the attentiveness fantastic. I ordered the cevapi and they had their Long Island iced tea on special. The Long Island iced tea they did their thing makes perfectly no notes. That cevapi though. Absolutely fantastic. Levels of deliciousness bordering on the edge of just outright ridiculous. And of all places at a truck stop with ample truck parking and a really good selection inside their store. If you find yourself in your travels going out by this area. Skip the TA skip the Love’s bypass the pilot on the way up here. You come here. They’re going to treat you right

I had the grilled salmon. It was very good and the rice kind of bland I think they should go to like a wild rice blend or something a little more flavorful and the green beans very good service was great. Atmosphere kind of quiet, but it was early in the afternoon. I will be back.

This place is a joke. We sat at the bar, gave our order, and never received our food. We sat waiting for over 45 minutes and still never received our food. The place wasn’t even busy. The waiter wasn’t even understanding. Just rude and dismissive. Then, there was an older lady waitress behind the bar cussing very loudly about her coworker. She was so loud that the other waitress told her shhhh. I’ve traveled to many places and been to plenty of restaurants and have never been treated so poorly. The truck stop is very nice but I’m not too sure that I’ll return to the restaurant. We paid for our drinks and left. Please get better help.
