Pearl’s Good Eats – Gatorland
The food was good, but the overall experience was bad.
The cashier was in a very bad mood and extremely serious for a tourist attraction. This is a place for tourists, not locals — tourists should be treated better.
We ordered a soda with refill. When we tried to get the refill, we were told we couldn’t because we didn’t have the souvenir cup. So we bought the souvenir cup, and when we went for the refill, we were charged $1.10 USD.
There was no sign and no information explaining this charge.
It’s not about the money.
It’s about the very strange and negative experience.
I’ve been coming to the USA my whole life, and I have never been charged for a soda refill before.

Most reviews of this place are people whining and crying about their poor experiences. Being from out of town i greatly appreciate the ability to dine in a shaded area with plenty of seating. There was a small wait time to get out food but we were able to enjoy ourselves while we waited. We ordered the pulled pork platter and the smothered fries. Both were outstanding, the only thing that I disliked was their soft drink prices. $4.50 for a 16 oz paper cup no refills, $5 for a 12 oz souvenir cup with .59 refill and $12 for a large 20oz souvenir cup with .99 refills. Aside from that the experience was memorable but the drink situation would not keep us from returning or eating here again.

Their gators bites are superb, but don’t forget drop some hot sauce on those bad boys. You eat between the emu and leucistic gators enclosures so the atmosphere is incredible.

Y’all, the hot dog would make a nun blush and most men jealous. It could easily feed 2 people. It’s size was not all, it was quite tasty and the chili and cheese were great. Refills on drinks were reasonably priced and not only for a single visit like some other theme parks.
The chips were homemade and on point. It tops most other bigger theme park restaurants, for the food they offered.

Good place to stop and eat, it has a varied menu for adults and children, you can also have some sodas or if you prefer a red or white wine or even if the day is very hot you can have a cold beer, good attention and you can try the “Famous fried Gator bites”.

Gator bites were great, the kids gobbled them up! I loved them with the provided sauce but the kids preferred them with catsup. Fries were okay too. Of course, they offer more normal food for the less adventurous among us. Hamburgers, chicken nuggets and such. Great place to eat if you are hanging out in the awesome wonderland that is Gatorland. We saw a bird but none tried to steal any food from us. Nice shady spot to eat with a fan.

Not the best food sadly, over seasoned and probably frozen not fresh.

The kid loved their chicken tenders and fries. Our group had someone who was gluten-free and was able to find food. Another guests was vegetarian and plant based and their only option was a side side ( a little disappointing).
The gator bites was delicious.
The line was long around lunch time, but moved quickly. Once ordered we sat at a table and waited for our number to be called, which probably took 10 minutes. It was not a bad wait given the large amount of guests they were trying to accommodate.

Nothing too fancy or exciting, but the food was a lot better than I was anticipating. Service was fast and friendly.
