I had a combo of duck, pork, cabbage and sticky rice. The pork and cabbage are all I would recommend. The soup had little taste, and the duck had an odd taste that I couldn’t get past. The sticky rice was just rice. It was purple, so I was hoping for more, but was let down. The duck was hanging in a heat box, and who knows if it had been in there since lunch or freshly cooked. Either way I didn’t like it. I had to leave and go get something else that I could enjoy.

I have been here a few times when I visit the area. The prices are insanely high vs the last times I was here and this is coming from someone who works and live in Los Angeles. We spent almost $50 for 2 plates and a salad. Add a few dollar more and you’ll get much more and better food elsewhere. The food isn’t mind blowing so don’t expect too much. If you’re going there for the convenience, that’s fair. But if you’re going there for the food experience, I’d recommend anything else on Hwy 70.

These guys are awesome. I recently visited the restaurant on business, I walked in and was greeted with smiles. The staff is amazing, the restaurant was spotless clean. I would go as far as ignoring the ten second rule it was truly spotless. The kitchen area was the same. Everything wiped down sanitary and clean. The sweet tea was catawba county perfect all the way down to the sealed top. If your in the area dont let this place sleep on you stop in and you will agree, this is how it’s done.

Great food with a unique experience. The chef prepared our duck right in front of us. It was amazing to see it taken out of the hanging warmer and prepared for us. The chef even came out to greet us and welcome us since it was our first time!

We were recommended this place by friends as we were from out of the town and made the one hour drive out only to be met with a sign that said they were closed for the new years weekend. No updates hours on google or Yelp so we made the drive out for nothing. Thankfully there were other places nearby as a good alternative. There’s nothing wrong closing for the New Year’s weekend and spending time with the family, but the least that you can do is update your hours on all platforms so people don’t waste their time making the drive out.

Usually when the restaurant is sold off to a new owner, most of the time they’ll change up the recipe or menu but I’m glad that they kept it original and added more to the menu. Still as good as always and might even be better. Def come try, well deserve and recommend

Very nice! I love pork belly! My friend loved the peaking duck. I got chilins(pork intestines) it was cooked perfectly! Not chewy it is good. All of it was cooked just right. The bubble tea is spot on. Very enjoyable meal.

Food service is efficient and friendly, BUT the prices are too high. Their Pho, Bitter soup (very fatty pieces of intestines) & Laarb portions are small. The Papaya platter went from $39 to $50. Crispy pork needs to be a few notches crispier. One 24 oz container of papaya salad here is $16 ($17+ after tax) Pho is really bland. Digital monitors showing menu prices were different on my receipt, avg by $1.50 more on each entree. Small expensive eggrolls, very little stuffing inside.

If you want good food, this is the place! I got the Duck n Combo and I swear it’s the best plate out of all the options (and I haven’t even tried the others).
The portion size is awesome for the price and you get a variety of meats. This plate is perfect for someone who wants to try it all. You get duck, pork, stuffed wing, rice, and a side of sauteed cabbage. Delicious!
The atmosphere was a little dark for my liking but the food made up for it. Customer service was also great. I highly recommend for a foodie!
