Tried this place recently and it was a good experience overall.
We ordered the Tandoori Paneer Pizza and the Pesto Pizza , both were honestly really good. The flavours were balanced and different from the usual pizza spots, especially the tandoori paneer which stood out.
Service was also nice. Rafik attended us and was friendly and helpful, and even offered complimentary dipping sauces on the house
The ambience had a chill vibe and the food quality matched it.
Would definitely recommend trying these two pizzas at least once.

I have been really slow on trying all the neat pizza spots in the city. We truly have so many in Toronto it us hard to choose. I really enjoyed renaissance pizza, it was really good. That detroit style is so delicious, love pan pizzas and this spot is hands down a great spot. The dough is airy with a very nice crust. Toppings are a great combination of being an addition to that dough.

Had heard a lot about this place online and social media so thought of giving it a try. It was average at best. Understand there’s much use of dough but it was way too oily. The toppings were appropriate and in good quantity but oil was like this in Pizza from pizza hut. So maybe to experience Detroit style pizza but won’t repeat it again . Staff was courteous and ambience was good

Renaissance is a standout in Toronto’s growing Detroit-style pizza scene. The classic contrast of crispy, caramelized edges with a soft, fluffy interior is executed perfectly here. We tried the mushroom pizza, which was so flavorful and satisfying that we didn’t miss the meat at all. The owner provided excellent, friendly service, adding to the great overall experience. Without a doubt, this spot ranks among my top three Detroit-style pizzerias in the city. (I would like to come back to try a tomato sauce based meaty selection)

Fantastic. Possibly my new favorite Detroit style. Crisp cheesey edges, nice golden crunch on the bottom, soft and moist and delicious. Every bite was perfect. The garlic sauce they make is A++ too.

5 stars all the way around!!! We felt very welcome from the moment we walked in where the chef explained the menu to us since it was our first time in and my first time having Detroit style pizza. We chose the spicy pepperoni and it did not disappoint! The combination of flavors was perfection and it wasn’t too spicy. We will definitely eat here again- highly recommend.

This is an excellent Detroit-style pizza place for Toronto. The toppings are unique and inventive, and I particularly enjoyed the spicy pep. The crust was crunchy and not soggy at all. The service was impeccable and very friendly. Overall, it’s a great addition to the pizza scene in Toronto.

My son and I savored every bite of the savory, cheesy and decadent pizzas here! The friendly service was also very much appreciated and made our long drive to the pizzeria worthwhile! Yum!

You could be overcooked and undercooked at the same time but the exterior was overcooked and the dough on the inside was undercooked. I’m under the impression they used too much dough. The pizza probably could have tasted good, had the dough and cooked thoroughly and correctly. I’m not sure what happened and maybe this is a fluke. I ordered carryout the credit card machine asked for tip the lowest tip was 4 dollars. Not sure if it’s normal to tip for carryout in Canada. This place could be good if it was cooked correctly

Best detroit pizza I’ve had so far. Ingredients were very fresh. Calabrian chillies brought flavor without being overly spicy and the dollops of ricotta cheese made this pizza unique. The hot honey drizzle made it even more tasty. This is also the first pizza sauce that did not give me heartburn. BIG PLUS!!! Atmosphere was casual and welcoming. The staff here are very friendly. Will definitely be visiting again. Lots more to try.
