Delicious food with great staff interactions. They are always patient and willing to explain or adapt the flavors. Group of four met for lunch and all had the new lunch sampler which gives you a chance to try several different options from the menu. And even though it says sampler, the food is more than plentiful. Price was very reasonable and our bill was higher only because we celebrate gathering with fancy drinks. We will always go back!

Overall the food was good and waitress was very nice.

The spice level with their dishes seem to be on the lower end so medium was fairly mellow and mild had the slightest hint of spice. You can taste the actual seasoning of the food through the spice so that’s always nice and it doesn’t have that overpowering burn sensation spicy food can sometimes give.

Starting with favorites..The eggplant dish (baingan bhartha)- It was creamy but still felt light and had such a nice flavor profile. Another favorite was shrimp tawa. It also had a light feel to it and the sauce was perfect to top with rice. The shrimp were fresh and cooked to perfection.

The gobi Manchurian was good but not the best i’ve had. They gave you a lot but the sauce was a little clumpy and the breading on the cauliflower was a little mushy while still being crispy. But the flavor was there. The curry paneer was average. Nothing special to note.

I’m not sure what happened with the shrimp tandoori but it was not good. (They did take it off our bill which we were not expecting so that was very much appreciated) The first piece of shrimp I took was undercooked and the next one was mushy and somehow rubbery. It also had zero flavor except for the slight char taste from however it was cooked. After that the dish was left untouched.

If I’m in the area I’ll for sure go back and try other dishes. They have a nice size menu so there are plenty of options to try.

If you like Indian food, this is a MUST GO TO!

We sat at the bar and had some drinks and boyyyyy were they good. The “Indian Cocktail” with a rose liquor was unlike I have ever had. I didn’t know what to order (because I don’t have a lot of Indian food knowledge). I tell “some guy” to surprise me, make it medium heat, with goat. Welp, that “some guy” was the owner, Sid. I don’t have a clue what it was called, but it was probably in my top 3 dishes of all-time. Incredible! Hey, Sid, thanks for making our Valentine’s dinner top-notch.

We first tried Curry and Cocktails when they opened during the pandemic and have been regulars ever since. It was actually one of the first foods our second youngest tried when she started solids as a toddler, and our whole family has been hooked ever since. Our go to dishes are the chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, and vegetable korma, which are always excellent. Sid, the owner, treats us like family and is incredibly accommodating to both our immediate and extended family. He’s always checking in and genuinely making sure guests are happy, which really sets this place apart. Highly recommend.

I have take out the food, since my kids don’t eat spicy I asked few peppers for my self, even though I have tipped them good they asked for additional $3 for few peppers. Last time when I ordered it came with it and many other Indian restaurants do give additional salads like this. This was bad service.

We recently had a housewarming party and catered food from Curry and Cocktails. This was my first time ordering food from here. All my guests were raving about the food. It was so delicious and more than enough for 45 guests( they all packed food to take home- which itself tells so much about the food taste). Everything we ordered on the menu was awesome, worth mentioning gobi manchurian, chhole, paneer tikka masala, veg korma and gulab jamun. My guests took several servings of the food and gulab jamun. Veg korma was outstanding. The owner himself came to set up the whole table. He is so nice, polite and down to earth person. Their food quality, taste and price are very competitive. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely get catering from here for my next event.

Hands down some of best indian food i have had. I got the lamb chops which were really good while my girlfriend had the Mkhani(Butter) with shrimp. The tomato cream sauce was simply amazing. I will definitely order that the next time. The mixed drinks also were exceptional. The owner stopped by and was very nice and geniune. Will definitely be back.

I believe this restaurant was the first Indian Restaurant opened in the Middletown area. And we’re very much appreciates its presence in the MOT area. It offers both dine in and take out options. We prefer to dine in as the entrees tastes much better fresh out of the kitchen.

The atmosphere is quite relaxing and soothing. The staff is attentive to your needs. Most importantly, all of the dishes are prepared and flavored authentically. We have not had a dish that we didn’t enjoy. Portions served were plentiful, and pricing was reasonable. You may want to avoid peak time over the weekend as it can be busy.

It’s good to add this place to dine in the MOT area as it offers a terrific diverse culinary option.
