The Bjorn: O&H Danish Bakery opened in 1949 and has been family owned for four generations. Although they’re known primarily for their Kringles, their sweet roll of the month for April is the Bjorn. Bjorn means bear in Danish, which is an appropriate name for this treat that resembles a bear claw pastry. O&H’s sweet roll is filled with cream cheese and a strip of rich chocolate. Additionally, it is dipped in silky chocolate and finished with a honey glaze. It may be a “bear claw”, but this thing was like an elephant’s foot, it was massive! My taste buds were enthralled by the perfect combination of sweet and salty (there’s pinches of it on the honey glazed portion). Although the filling is thin, looks can be deceiving as it packs more than enough flavor. The portion glazed in honey’s flavor reminded me a bit of honey twist pretzels, while the texture of the chocolate end evoked memories of a dipped cone. Texturally the pastry itself is pleasantly chewy. I’m not a hunter, but if literal bear claws tasted like these then I’d be the next Theodore Roosevelt. Doughboy approved

Val is the most amazing person in the world. I have been coming to this location since it opened. Everytime I walk in I see an amazing smile and a “How are you this morning?” Being in Customer Service for the last 30 years she is the single most amazingly happy person I have ever met. I will continue to come here as long as I live.

So this wonderful bakery (which has a few locations) and makes the largest variety of delicious Danish Kringle, is located in what you think is a reataurant/truck stop (which it is), but is sooo much more! There’s also a large really nice gift shop and Dunkin (but opt for the OH bakery goods)and stuff I probably didn’t see for the short time I was there. But don’t miss an easy stop off the highway for O&H, great idea for a unique baked gift any time of year, or just eat it yourself

As a trucker, it has been several months since I have even been in the state. This is the second time I have had the absolute delight of basking in the deliciousness of these treats.

I have not had one single bad thing from this establishment.

I am enthralled in the flavor of these pastries. If nirvana were to be sought after among flavors, look no further. The Kringle, specifically the cherry cheese kringle, was divine. My taste buds have never experienced so much pleasure.

They humorously put 12 servings on the kringle, but no matter. This Kringle takes 3 days to make (according to the packing) and 3 hours to consume. You must savor it, of course.

So many options for sweet treats!

I look forward to the next time I have the privilege to be seduced by O&H Bakery.

I entered a bunch of orders for Christmas. Found out well in advance of shipping that some people’s Christmas plans had changed. Called their customer service and had a horrible experience. Definitely an outsourced call center who doesn’t care about their customers. No way to update the shipping address 2 days before shipping without paying a $26 fee to change? I will never order another Kringle again and will share my experience with everyone I can!!

UPDATE: Thank you to “the owner” for reaching out to me. I sincerely appreciated them explaining that they have so many orders, eg 36K, that it is nearly impossible for them to change an address after an order has been received. They also did not charge shipping for the updated order I sent. I probably will not use O&H again for gift giving but they are excellent to order for yourself or for someone where you are 100% sure where they will be when delivered. This is a problem to me that if solved would make this business a beyond 5 out of 5 as their products are delicious!

Today, we picked up our pre-ordered paczki order, invoice #476794, 264-0. Usually O&H delivers quality baked goods, as we have ordered birthday cakes, kringle, and other items in the past. Today, 02/16/2026, we were truly disappointed in our pre-ordered pazckis. The paczkis are stale, not just a little, but taste like they were made last week sometime. We totally understand that O&H probably had hundreds of orders to fill, not to mention walk-in orders, but as I said, this is truly disappointing. We were going to share our goods with friends, and now will be going to the local bakery in Burlington tomorrow morning. I’m sure our $30.00 order was not the largest order O&H had for paczkis, but we most certainly will not be ordering next year. Truly unfortunate.

Excellent Kringle and donuts everytime! I love that O&H’s donuts aren’t overly greasy and have such a nice texture. They also offer seasonal Kringle which is perfect for family gatherings during the holidays. This O&H is also located in a convenient travel stop with other food options and good restrooms. It’s perfect if you’re traveling!

Great place to stop for fresh danish. Convenient to the highway, large selection, quick checkout through the convenience store. Their fruit kringle don’t have dyes but their seasonal ones may. Be sure to check the freezer case for additional goodies including sugar and salt free danishes and kringle!

Delicious Kringle. You must try the “Wisconsin” flavor – cherry, cranberry, and cream cheese mix. So good.

The quality going down and price going up, it’s becoming more like Walmart pastry… . I can’t justify $24 for 3 croissants and 4 small half filled rolls…
