I have been patronizing this establishment for 10+ YEARS! I had never had a problem with the food or the service until 2 weeks ago. The manager JD does not care about his customers. My order was wrong the first time and they did nothing to fix it and this time he lied to me telling me my food had not been picked up but before the lady that answers to take the orders told me it had been gone. I paid with my card. If you get your food delivered make sure you pay with cash. Maybe you will get a different reaction.

I’ve been ordering from Wonder Wu for years, and the quality of the food has changed. They have inconsistent pricing, with menu prices different from what you’re charged. Delivery fees also vary depending on who answers the phone.

I heard about Wonder Wu through the suggestions from other local guides. The General Tso chicken (which was indicicated as “hot” has a pretty good flavor but very lacking when it comes to heat level. The sweet and sour chicken was decent, but they use the average red sauce everywhere else uses. Their fried rice is quite good, but their seafood was some of the worst I’ve had from anywhere, over cooked and swimming in a watered-down butter, I was Nauseated all night. Overall I gave it 3 stars for the good quality chicken matched with the best fried rice but couldnt get over the seafood dish.

Food was excellent, im originally from St. Louis and if you know anything about how the fried rice is made there then you’d understand. This is the only place I’ve known here in indy that makes ham fried rice, and you still have to ask for the peas and carrots to be removed , then its definitely a close second. Service was good as well. I was pleased with this establishment overall.

We love WonderWu! My order last night was placed for delivery through their website. Our order was delivered an hour later than promised. I got a message my order was canceled! I called and the guy was aware of the order and said his boss would call me. I still wanted our food. Got another message the order had been picked up and was on the way. It did finally arrive and it was hot and good. Ever since they hooked up with delivery thru Doordash it’s not the same.

Haven’t ordered here for maybe 3 months. I called in a delivery order, told her what I wanted, she said my total was $19.07. As I’m reaching for my debit card, she’s asking if I’d like to order something else, like a soda, to reach the $20 delivery minimum. I asked her to repeat it, in case I heard wrong, but no… I said ‘since when? It’s been $10 minimum’ She asked about a soda, or did i want to pick up? I told her to cancel my order.
I may order in the future, if I’m already out & can pick up on my way home, but I’ll never do delivery here at that cost. Sorry!

Read reviews and went off of you alls opinions and I’m dissatisfied. The general tso chicken tastes like orange chicken and ginger. In fact you can tell they use the sweet and sour chicken as general tso. Never tasted General TSO that off in flavor. It wasn’t good to me. Rice seemed like it had been sitting all day. My wife said her chicken lo mein was pretty good however.

First, and LAST time. Waited over an hour for average, maybe even less than average food. I called in an order for pick up at 6:50 pm on a Friday night. I was told it would be ready in 15. When I arrived, there were about 4 people were in line ahead of me, the phone was ringing off the hook. As the rain POURED so the people also poured in, one after another. I paid for my food and proceeded to wait for 45 minutes while everyone who came in after me (about 12 people, I counted) received their order and left. Finally, I approached the counter and asked about my order only to find that it had been sitting on their back table overlooked the entire time. 7:57 pm…an hour an 7 minutes after I ordered. When I got home, my food was almost room temperature; I had to warm it up! And it wasn’t even good…just standard Americanized Chinese takeout. I am less than pleased.
2 things were good: 1. I stayed long enough for the rain to let up, and 2. I chatted with an other man the whole time I waited who was rather interesting. He ordered just after me and received his food only moments prior to me. My only hope is his food was better than mine.
I will not be back, ever.
