The ingredients are always fresh, the portions are generous, and the customization is unbeatable. Whether you’re building a burrito, loading up a bowl, or grabbing chips and queso, everything tastes clean, seasoned, and made with care. You can tell the team takes pride in keeping the line moving while still getting every order right.
The restaurant is kept clean, the service is quick, and the staff is genuinely helpful — exactly what you want when you’re grabbing lunch or dinner on a busy day. Moe’s delivers the perfect mix of convenience and quality, and it’s become a go‑to spot for a reason.
Highly recommend this location for anyone who wants bold flavor, great service, and a reliably excellent meal.
Honestly, it felt like nobody cared making this order. I tipped $8.50 because I appreciate the driver, but the food was a total letdown.
There were 3 employees behind the counter when we visited and one that was maybe on break (he let us know the HVAC system had been broken for over a year), one of the employees behind the counter appeared to be making himself a rather large to go order and he was very chatty (about things I had no idea what he was even rambling on about since he wasn’t helping us with our order so I wasn’t paying much attention).
There weren’t any other customers in the lobby until we were almost finished and maybe 1 that came in to pickup a carry out order. And, although it was very slow, the 2 employees remained behind the counter during our entire visit whole every table in the dining room was dirty (we had to wipe a table down to have a clean place to eat). The guy that made our order was friendly enough and the lady that cashed us out was as well but their lack of attentiveness to the dirty lobby resulted in a low review.
Whole our food was good, it was fleeting because it was so cold in the building that our food got cold rather quickly making it quite unenjoyable.
Employees and customers alike should not have to suffer through this type of situation. Fixing the HVAC system should be a priority for safety reasons. It’s quite shameful really. Next time we will make the additional drive to the location at the Shoppes of Lakeland.
My brother and I went to get burritos Sunday evening an hour before close and I was expecting to be disappointed as I usually am. The past 7-8 times I’ve come here, they’ve been out of either chicken or steak, and usually multiple toppings. And that’s a problem as I come to Moe’s for loaded Homewreckers (something you can’t get at chipotle, etc.) and get chicken + steak and almost all the toppings added.
I almost walked out when I saw they were out of steak, but Dalton was welcoming and Andrea apologized for being sold out of items. So I stayed and I’m very happy I did. Dalton rolled the fullest, tightest Homewrecker I’ve had in YEARS and Andrea made sure we had plenty of salsa (even though it was in the back).
While the service was AMAZING and the workers should be commended for recouping my business, it’s very apparent that the owner of this franchise location couldn’t care less about the atmosphere and making sure the store is fully staffed. The walls show where old art pieces used to hang and the tables and store seems to be in a state of decay. On top of it seeming like they only ever had 2-3 employees working, when they used to have 5-6 people during its heyday. This makes more work for less employees and results in the issues I listed before: sold out/not prepared toppings and ingredients.
I’d suspect these issues have something to do with the franchise owner, Anthony Friel, and his attitude towards paying employees. In 2023 he didn’t pay Moe’s employees for several weeks because he “had problems with his bank” and was upset when employees closed the stores. Sorry, but I agree with the workers. You don’t pay workers, they don’t have to work for you. That’s literally the agreement and the ONLY reason people go to work… very obviously an internal culture issue and not one due to poor talent or the products Moe’s corporation markets. And I know it’s Friel, because every Moe’s outside of central FL is DANK and always packed with business. This location is a ghost town comparatively.
5 stars for service, 3 for food (taste is good, availability is NOT), and 3 for atmosphere.
This location was dirty, not well kept, and the service was not great. The chicken looked like rubber square pellets, And the chips were super stale. We are just praying we don’t get food poisoning from this experience, and I recommend going elsewhere for lunch.
I really try my best to avoid at all cost online or in person. And even when I give them the benefit of the doubt still don’t have food as I drive 30mins away just for Moe’s!
Tuesday at 6 One person in the building . Sign says no chips and salsa , that’s fine .
What it should have said was bad service pre close the grill at 7pm . All the line food was either old or empty . There was no steak I got charged for steak , old burnt hard rice , old burnt veggies and the big guy had not one but 2 pieces of hair on my food . Disgusting
The AC doesn’t work, and she said they won’t get it fixed. It’s a shadow of what it used to be. It’s fast food, I get it. But it used to be a friendly place with a bright atmosphere, good music. It’s dirty every time I go in. Like nasty. Whoever owns this spot needs to tighten up majorly. Bring it back to what it was! Make Moes Great again!
I’m working New Years as well. I’m on break as I’m typing this and not once did it cross my mind to take out my distain of working holidays on my companies customers 🙁
This isn’t the first time I’ve gotten a bad order though it’s usually edible… This time it was just bad and I was so hungry I ate it any other day I would have thrown it away.
I’ve gotten the wrong bowl like completely different bowl than what I ordered before or sometimes they’ll just freestyle it and add a bunch of stuff I didn’t even have on the ticket and each time I forgive them and didn’t stop to write anything but all zero people who see this must know the truth. (AKA I need a way to grieve)
RIP my first meal of 2026 you will not be missed
