Before going to the UNIQLO next to Hamburg City Hall (Rathaus), we stopped by for lunch. We ordered a Sashimi No Moriawase and Oyako Don, and they were very delicious. I would like to visit again when I come back to Hamburg. I recommend it to everyone.

Don’t come.
As asian, asian restaurant in Germany disappointed me again. It is operated by Vietnamese and tastes nothing like Japanese.
We ordered the Wonton Men and Miso Ramen. The wonton noodles tasted nothing like the original Hong Kong wonton, broth was just ok but way overpriced (21€ for 3 wontons). It called Schrimp Wonton but had 0 schrimp taste.
I don’t know what’s going on with the people who said this is this the best they have ever had. RUN!!

The atmosphere is nice, and the service is excellent. The rolls, sushi, and tonkatsu were delicious, but the miso ramen was Chinese, not Japanese, and not very tasty.

Fresh sushi, we ordered tuna sushi and the duck breast. Super delicious. Chicken with teriyaki is also nice. Ramen is a lot of noodles inside in the portion. The drinks is also fine. Service is friendly.

The only things that my friend and I was surprised (negatively) is the matcha soju, it sound so fancy until it is serve with wine glass and it taste so so sweet without any alcohol taste and it was cold. Sorry it is because i am not translated fully the menu and did not ask properly
However, I always like the wide variety of food options they have. They have the finest salmon belly and different type of standard Japanese food eg ramen curry rice, sashimi. And I especially like the way they use their time to make the food presentable and with many tiny attention. I like to recommend their place to small business dinner as well, so people taste something different fancy yet affordable price.
One thing I hope they could improve is having English menu or more photo for people who are not familiar with Japanese cuisine name.

We just went here for coffee, matcha and mango sticky rice. Service is very good, everybody very nice, also no problem with english. Sadly – matcha is just milk. You cannot taste matcha at all, we tried both. I am a fan of mango sticky rice in general, so I can compere and this one was very weak. Rice was too salty and too hard. It was also pretty bland. I don’t know about food in general, since this was all we tried but if you looking for place for matcha and desserts, this is not it. Menu looks super promising and I was planning to come here for dinner but I lost the trust after quality of this 🙁 Coffee was okay. And again – no complain to the service, I appriaciate it especially during Christmas when everyone would be prefer to be home.

It was a really nice place and atmosphere. We ordered a delicious starter and the sashimi was nice too. The tonkatsu was very delicious. Perhaps a bit more of the tonkatsu sauce would be appreciated. The only thing I would criticise was the fact that they served it with jasmine rice and not Japanese short-grained rice.

We just found this place randomly, looking for places to eat nearby. There was seating outside which had people eating there, but we opted to sit inside because of the smoking. The place had a cozy dinner vibe, albeit a little dark. Service was excellent as the two servers frequently came to hear if everything was alright. The food I ordered, tonkatsu, tasted amazing and the place began to fill up as the time passed. If you are in the area looking for Japanese cuisine, I definitely recommend Kaiyo.

I was on a date and had a good time, unfortunately the only thing that bothered me was the noise.
