We celebrated our daughter’s 22nd birthday at The Sugar Factory, and it was truly unforgettable! From the moment we walked in, the energy was electric – fun, vibrant, and full of life! The staff made us feel so welcomed, and they were incredibly attentive and friendly throughout the entire experience.

The food? Delicious! Every bite was packed with flavor, and the portions were generous. And of course, the signature drinks and sweet treats were showstoppers – colorful, creative, and oh-so-fun!

What really stood out was the atmosphere – it was the perfect mix of exciting and family-friendly. The music was great, and when the staff came out singing and hyping up the birthday celebration, it brought so many smiles and made the day feel even more special.

If you’re looking for a spot to celebrate a birthday or just enjoy a good time with your family, the Sugar Factory is a must! We made memories that will last a lifetime and can’t wait to go back.

Went here with my parents while on vacation. Really cool place, very flashy and loud, especially when someone is there for their birthday. It’s definitely not my cup of tea when it comes to restaurants, but like I said, I was on vacation with family. They have a very limited menu. At least, that’s what I thought when it came to “regular food” anyway. Now, their dessert menu, well, that’s another story. If that’s what you’re looking for, this is your place. However, it is kinda pricey, and the dessert portions are huge, so you better bring a friend to share because no matter how big you think your sweet tooth is, these desserts are bigger. The food that we did order was good, and the service was even better. They really took care of us, and we’re very friendly and upbeat. Last but not least, there is a store beside the restaurant as well where you can satisfy all of your candy, cookie, and ice cream needs if eating at the actual restaurant is not for you. Oh, and don’t forget the attached bar that is not only in the restaurant itself but raps around and faces the casino, too. Make sure to visit if you go to the casino or the hotel. I’m glad I did, but for me , once would have been enough.

I’ve been wanting to go to the Sugar Factory for years now and finally this year made it. Got taken out here for my birthday and let me tell you it’s worth every penny. The staff were so friendly and kind and their service was incredible. I got the Flammin Hot Cheetos Burger medium well and fries (mouth watering and cooked perfectly). My partner got the breakfast burger (he loved it !! – again cooked perfectly). We got the Mai tai goblet
To share even that was amazing. I even got to take home some leftover to have that amazing food again. Def will be going back soon. Even though they are located in Dover service and quality were top level. Def should try it out here and have a taste of the incredible food !!

This was the only place that was open on a Tuesday inside the hotel. We got there around 7:30ish it was not busy at all we got seated right away. The place was clean, the staff were pleasant and attentive. The drinks were flavorful but a bit light on alcohol ( u can always ask them to make it stronger) the food was fresh. Salad was crunchy and just enough dressing not too much. The string beans were cooked perfectly not mushy crunchy and with enough spices. I definitely recommend this place. We had an amazing experience in less than 24 hours that we were there.

The Sugar Factory was Wonderful! It’s almost like the Cheesecake Factory but only without cheesecake but with different kind of desserts we can buy. I purchased the birthday celebration cupcake and it was delicious! I also had the Big Cheesy Burger and it was super delicious and the fries. Though I wish they’d do better with the price because this place is very expensive. But Despite this I enjoyed the food here and it was delicious.

Overall the experience was not that great. The drinks and desserts were good but the actual meal was not that great. Apparently this is not a true Sugar Factory location and they don’t have everything that other locations have. I ordered the Cajun seafood platter and it was not good at all. All fried food which I was not expecting and it was dry and they just put a ton of seasoning on it to cover the bland and dry taste. The seasoning was not Cajun and it was super salty. Definitely would not recommend for the main meal but good for drinks and desserts.

I’ve visited this location in Delaware a few times, but just recently I visited for Valentine’s Day and there was decor set out and fun specials. Usually, service isn’t great but we had a great server this time. The food is good but overpriced. The drinks are super fun but also too expensive. Overall, it’s a fun experience but not a place to grab a regular meal at. (The French fries are honestly the best thing they serve.) Added photos are of the fish & chips, White Gummi fishbowl drink and the Mac n Cheese pops.

VISITED ON NEW YEARS DAY, JANUARY 1, 2024
As a 5th birthday gift to our niece, my husband thought of taking her to this restaurant. HUGE MISTAKE!
In hindsight, bringing her on a holiday was not a good idea especially new years day when it was evident whomever was to work didn’t work bc maybe partied too hard the night before? From what we observed there was the hostess who had a sour, mean look on her face. Never greeted or welcomed any of the patrons that she seated. And the Asian waitress along with the cooking staff and the elder gentlemen who ran the food out once it was ready.
Upon being seated, we took in the atmosphere. Although the restaurant is supposed to be ‘trendy & hip’ according to the multiple tv’s, this place seemed depressing. Maybe bc it resides within a casino full of geriatrics spending or throwing all their life long earnings into the slot machines?
Aside from our niece, there was one other child. And all he did was cry loudly most of the time. We actually got compliments for how well our niece was behaving. This was definitely not like the SF my husband & daughter visited at the Mall of America in Minnesota, where it was full of families.
The decor was cool! It was bright and tastefully sophisticated for what it’s for.
Now for the service and food. We waited quite a bit to have our orders taken. Considering there was 1 waitress working at the moment and tables gradually filling up, we gave her our order right away. Fortunately, we didn’t wait too long for our food but the two specialty beverages we ordered didn’t come until almost a 1/2 hour after receiving our food! My husband never got his soda! Eventually, more staff gradually trickled in but by then we were deeply disappointed by the service. The food was OK, but nothing to brag about: The Big Cheesy, Chicken tenders and fries, grilled cheese and fries. Beverages: the Ocean Blue Goblet and the Candy Shop Goblet. It was pretty cool watching the actual beverage being poured into the Goblet. It’s like a science experiment!
OVERALL: NOT WORTH THE PRICE TAG! Horrible service. Or simply try another SF where you don’t feel depressed on when you’ll meet your maker!
Don’t bring your kids either!

Absolutely horrible experience. Our server was terrible. She stopped by after we sat down to say she would be with us in just a moment, almost 10 minutes later we flagged her down to place our drink order, and she wanted to take our full order, which frustrated our whole party. But we went with in because who knows how long it would take for her to come back. Our appetizer was brought out with our drinks, and not a single thing was what you would call warm. Then the raw burgers came… We each ordered a burger and my son-in-law’s was literally cold in the middle and when he opened his burger, the meat was still raw, so my daughter and I cut ours open and it was the same. We called the Manager over who did over to have them remade, but we had already been there 45 minutes and weren’t wanting another long wait to get our food.

WE WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION!!!
