We were in mood for Indian food and went based on recommendation from a friend and this place was as advertised. Really enjoyed the food and definitely worth another visit.

We had Tomatoes basil soup, panner makhni & tadka daal all of it was really good.
Also their Kashmiri naan, butter naan & onion roti was great..

Wow, this place was so good! My husband and I went last night and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Every dish we had was so delicious Our server was also so nice! I was so surprised how quiet it was. The entire time we were there, there were only one to two other couples/families. It was also such a beautiful place. We sat outside and it was so nice. I would definitely recommend going there! Also we didn’t order that much but we got so much food and it tastes great reheated the next day.

Went to Ono bar and grill with my entire family last night. It is a cute little restaurant, but parking is tight. We order a few different dishes: dal makhani, chana saag, malai kofta, chicken kadai and lamb kebabs with garlic naan. The food is fairly authentic, but has sweetness at the end. The kebab was disappointing.

Ono is my most favorite place to eat in Kaua’i! The food is absolutely authentic and it’s a family-run business with an amazingly warm staff. My husband and I eat here at least twice a month as a treat since we mainly cook at home. The lamb Tikka Masala, chicken coconut curry, garlic naan, and rice is our usual order. Puja and her beautiful baby daughter Shakti welcome guests as if they were entering their home while the husband/father Richie chefs it up in the back of the house. I feel like I don’t need to visit India because Kapa’a is blessed to have a little piece of the culture here on the Garden Isle.

Indian food is a cuisine we aren’t very familiar. Everything we tried from the butter naan to the tikka chicken and the lentil soup were fantastic and full of flavor. The atmosphere was casual but nice. Service was excellent and they helped us choosing our dishes.

Went here last night. We got lamb chops and a lamb in a green sauce. It really was not the best. The meat was certainly not very good. We are not indian but I have had indian easily 200 times in my life. Usually I am a generous reviewer on here, but this was just not that good. The heavy infian presence makes me believe they probably are incredible with vegetarian options though.

One of the best Indian food restaurants we have been to, we got the Chicken Korma & Butter Chicken. The service was a bit slow but we could tell there were only a few staff members so we didn’t mind waiting. The only thing that was strange was the rice was an additional charge, but the portions were large and more than fair for the price. Would definitely eat again next time we are visiting!

Food was below average. And service wasn’t good at all. The water spilled and they took away the jug. We asked him to bring more and he ignored our request. We had to ask again, and only then did he bring it unhappily. We ordered two of the lamb chop dishes which were $31 a piece. But it wasn’t until we left that we realized they were both missing the asparagus. Staff were unfriendly and weren’t very welcoming. One of the lamb kababs that we ordered had no salt or seasoning just spicy heat!

We really enjoyed the food and service at Ono! We went 3-4 times during our visit to Kaua’i and the food was delicious! We are vegetarian and we really loved the paneer Tawa pulao, Mushroom butter masala, Mushroom kebab and garlic naan! It is the best restaurant in all of Hawaii and we highly recommend checking it out!!
