My kids really enjoy going to The Baked Bear! We have been several times and have tried different menu items. It’s fun to create ice cream sandwiches and the portions are big enough to share. Everything is good, but not the best tasting cookies or ice cream you can find in town, in my opinion. The cookies are just ok and the ice cream isn’t anything special. It’s putting them together that makes this place stand out and be different than other dessert shops. I noticed that the first time we went in, the staff did not offer to help or explain how it works. This seems to be the norm every time, so either be prepared to know your order before you come in or to take time reading the instructions on the board. It can get really busy on the weekends, so be prepared to not have anywhere to sit and eat as well. When we have gotten a table it’s usually always dirty. Maybe they don’t have enough staff to both clean and be behind the counter. It’s pretty pricey ($25 for two) but worth a try!

We really enjoyed going to baked bear. The place is nice and clean with a pretty good layout. You ordered one side and walk over to pay on the other. They have a good range of cookies and ice cream. We weren’t sure how it worked when we walked in and had to let them know this was our first time because they were waiting on us to just start ordering. I feel the staff should ask if it’s your first time there for every customer so they know what level of service to provide. The cookies were good, although the brownie was very sweet. They had some good ice cream flavors too. Nice place in downtown Georgetown for dessert.

The Baked Bear in Georgetown is seriously the BEST! The cookies are warm and delicious, the ice cream is amazing, and the ice cream sandwiches are the perfect sweet treat. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Our team at Blushing Belle stops by all the time when we’re craving something sweet — it’s definitely a favorite on the Square! Highly recommend! ✨

As many of you know, I just do five star reviews. Anything short of that I don’t even bother. OMG, the baked bear knocked it out out of the park! I’m a big ice cream lover, and I was majorly impressed with this place ! Maurisa was my ice cream designer! I wanted her input on what she felt with some of the best combinations there. So they make you an ice cream cookie sandwich like you’ve never tried before. I had a gooey butter cake cookie and then the ice cream I had was call blackberry crumble, and I had a topped with whipped cream and caramel. Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend for the quality and service with top notch. It’s crazy because they put the ice cream within the cookies and then they warm the cookies and you would think that the ice cream would melt but they put it in just enough that the ice cream just gets a little soft but it’s not melted. I see there’s other towns that the big bear is in, but if you’re in this area, don’t hesitate to stop in! You will not be disappointed!

It’s amazing. Really really good! Huge portions. I have been twice now and so far my favorite is the butter cookie with blackberry cobbler crunch ice cream. Just wow!!! We will be here every time we are back in town for games and to visit.

We came in after 7PM on a Tuesday and was greeted by friendly and helpful waitstaff. The cookies and ice cream selection was numerous. We order ice cream and cookies. The cookies were soft and favorable. The ice cream was rich, thick and tasty. The helpings per order were more than to satisfy our cravings. Highly recommended!
