Food was delicious, love every dish I tried. As for service, our waiter could have been a bit quicker.. I understand helping customers pack their food but also not necessary when there are other guests waiting to order. It wasn’t even busy but it still took 15 minutes before we could even put our order in.

At Liberty Park today and decided to go to the Thai Garden Bristo since it was a short walk. Wow, very nice staff! Mon, my server was very pleasant and did a great job. I ordered the Thai Salmon and vegetables and it was delicious! Then things took a serious upscale as the desert was Mango Sticky Rice. Wow!! Very enjoyable!

came in on a thursday afternoon, the place was completely empty which is a shame because it was delicious!! i got fresh rolls with shrimp. they were very filling despite being an appetizer and came with a lot of warm peanut sauce on the side. for dessert, i got black sticky rice with thai pumpkin custard and it was incredible. i came in super hungry and came out very full and happy, will be back to try more stuff

Underwhelming flavors and service.

My family of 3 got lunch here. We ordered the green curry, Panang curry, and drunken noodles, all with chicken. The portions were average but all dishes were very “Americanized” with milky/watered down, muted flavors. The drunken noodles tasted overwhelming of soy sauce. We asked for extra spice on the side so we could customize the spice level, but they wouldn’t give us spice on the side.

We ordered a soft drink, Thai coffee and a glass of wine. The soft drink came out right away, then 35 minutes later the entrees, then 5 minutes later the Thai coffee and wine. I had nearly finished my meal by the time the wine arrived.

The place was dark and empty, but we went in because of the review. As a SouthEast Asian, the food didn’t meet to my standard or didn’t feel like home. I order Padthai and Nam Tok and the mang sticky rice. The Pad thai is on the sweeter side it was very red and orange and the taste isn’t too my liking- I’m not sure if they added in too much tamarind or ketchup- pad thai is suppose to be sour, sweet, salty and spicy(optional). Nam tok is suppose to be grill beef, but it looked like they boiled the beef- it was too watery, not spicy and the portion was small. When I had the mango sticky rice- the coconut sauce is suppose to be thick, but it became thin and watery, the mango isn’t sweet or cold- it didn’t feel refreshing. I came out not satisfied. The customers service is okay, I feel like it needs proper training- I feel like the person who serve us was too casual, when both of the dishes came out, I was expected to have my mango sticky rice too, but when I came to pay, I told them that I didn’t receive my mango sticky rice, so I told them to not charge them. The server end up telling me that they were observing me eating and then they will bring out my dessert( as a customer, I would expect all of them out at once or properly being asked how I would like to receive my dessert), which I didn’t know that I was being observe, yet I still took my mango sticky rice and still pay the price. I just think it needs some improvement. Was it worth the price? I don’t think so. I think it may need some evaluation based on their services and the authenticity of Thai food. I love Thai food and have been to many thai restaurants and know the home of the southeast asian food and services. This restaurant can have potential if evaluated the root of authentic Thai food.

The Thai Garden Bistro was so cutesy right from the get go! The waitress welcomed us as soon as we came in, and she was so so sweet – she was like the sunshine that we needed on that cloudy day (hehe). The food wasn’t as good as I’d been hoping, but it was still fresh and hot so that was something. We ordered the Red Curry, Pad Thai noodles, and a bowl of Tom Yum soup (I could be wrong, I forgot exactly what we ordered but I have pictures so that might help). The Red Curry was my personal favorite, but honestly all curry I’ve tried at Thai restaurants have been good.

Had an amazing experience here, came in around lunch time and there wasn’t anyone else, the only lady running the store got us seated promptly and she was very personable, we loved joking around with her. We ordered Pad Thai noodles with chicken and Green Curry with pork and mild spice, getting served promptly. We asked if we could get more spice just in case and she brought out a whole container of items that could spice up our dishes. The food was INCREDIBLE, it was my friend’s first Thai experience and he loved it. Price is definitely worth it, though it is more expensive here than I would have liked. All in all, a great place, would definitely recommend! Support local businesses!

I was really excited to come here. It’s got good reviews, and I’m a sucker for outdoor patio seating. Plus, 9th and 9th is just a fun neighborhood, so I was pumped for the food.

While the service was great (they are SO nice here), I was a bit let down with my meal.

I ordered Panang Curry, and my wife got Drunken Noodles.

As per usual, she loved the Drunken Noodles (she’s never had one she didn’t like).

My Panang Curry, on the other hand, was underwhelming. It lacked the amount of flavor I’ve had at other places, and the veggies were large and overpowering. The carrots were barely cooked, so they were still hard and contrasted poorly with the tender chicken and rice. The bell peppers were too big to bite, so I had to cut them down to size. Their citrusy flavor overpowered everything else and took away from the creaminess of the curry.

It was really close to being great. It seems like some small changes to the vegetables would have made the Panang Curry a great dish.

Also, worth noting, the water tasted weird here. You know how sometimes a soda fountain has water that just tastes off? Instead of tasting pure, it tasted like it has been sitting in an old plastic bucket.

Anyway, small changes, big impact. So close to nailing it.

Wonderful Thai food and even better service! Really cute outdoor patio. They also have plenty of drinks to choose from including several Unita beers! The drunken noodles were amazing! The shrimp pad Thai was also very good!

What a delight. The cozy outdoor dining patio created a warm and inviting ambiance. The food itself was good, with a perfect balance of flavor. (Pad see ew and curry) The attentive service added to the overall wonderful experience. If you’re looking for a cozy and flavorful Thai dining experience, this place is solid.
