We were in town for business, and my daughter and I found Richards, and it was a gem! I had the catfish and it was perfect, My daughter had a sandwich, and had to take half of it home. Their homemade ranch dressing was perfection. Julie, our server is a delightful person-warm and genuine, and she gave excellent service, and we felt that we made a friend. We will most definitely go there when we’re in Elberton again. I highly recommend Richards Restaurant & Lounge.

My husband and I were in town to get our Covid vaccines, so we thought we would try a local stop. There was parking in the back of the building, which was convenient. It was a neat place, and you could tell there was a lot of history there. I got the philly cheese steak sandwich with sweet potato fries, which was pretty good. Husband got the country fried steak with gravy and sweet potato fries. He really enjoyed it. The waitress was really friendly when she was in front of us, but also seemed a bit distracted, so wasn’t as attentive as I’d like. I’d say it’s worth a try, but I wouldn’t drive out to Elberton just for it.

Nice local restaurant on one side and bar on the other side. Variety of different types of food and it was prepared very well and tasted great. Pricing was also very reasonable. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Pretty cool place. The building has been the home of a eatery since the early 1900s. Had the Philly Cheese Steak which was really good. The bun was amazing. Decor is nice. Table tops on Jack Daniels barrels. Funky downtown within walking distance that is worth checking out too.

Love this spot! Went for a Sweetest Day date and it was everything! We enjoyed the GA game together in a nice little ducked off corner lol! It was so relaxed! The food was sooooo fresh and good and the customer service was EXCEPTIONAL!!!!

The load potato boats were the bomb. Highly recommend them. Staff were friendly and on top of all of our needs. Great place to eat. Can’t wait to try Dinner there.

Had really high hopes and was greatly disappointed. It took us an hour (I wish I was exaggerating) to get out food. “Home style” fries is code for frozen fries. Fries were not even fully cooked. Staff was friendly but it’s hard to makeup for waiting that long for a marginal meal that should have been ready in 15 minutes or less.
