I stumbled across MNCHS Kitchen while looking for another restaurant that had closed down recently and I’m glad I did. The tacos (particularly the chorizo taco) are the best I’ve found in the area so far. Paired with a smash burger during the happy hour pricing, I left satiated and already know what I’m going to order next time I stop by for a bite.

I believe they used to be a food truck and now have a store front restaurant. The food was phenomenal! The shrimp tacos are my favorite. They have a bunch of different hot sauces you can try. The chips and queso were really good! They have beer, mixed drinks, soda and mocktails as well as frozen drinks. They have parking right out front which is so convenient. They have such a cute vibe inside! It’s very comfortable and the prices are reasonable. Do yourself a favor and try them out! You can order online and pick up if you don’t want to dine in.

Food was fantastic and authentic. Fabulous grilled cod fish taco: well seasoned fish, fresh cabbage, onions and cilantro cream sauce served on two corn tortillas. Being a Florida girl, I love fish tacos and these were superior.
House made guacamole and salsa was awesome. They even had an extensive Mocktail menu! So fun!

There is no signage on the outside yet, but if you look closely in the window you will see their name on an old marquee sign. Opening the door you are hit immediately with the smells of soul satisfying yummyness! They have menus to browse, order at the counter. The inside was very comfortable and decorated with amazing wall art. We ordered two double smash burgers, and seven tacos for the four of us. The two of us with burgers both agree they are as good as hamburgers get. They are two smash patties with cheese ( the most excellent gooey kind), pickles onion and sauce that came on the side and was very tasty. The tacos ordered were shrimp, carnitas (pork), and carne asada (steak) all were loved and heralded as amazing with the shrimp taco coming out slightly ahead. This is a most wonderful place and we will be driving back to Newark soon just to eat there.

First time eating here but man was it good. We had tow burgers and one order of tots. Smash burgers were slightly heavy on the salt but good, the tots were tots but they were warm and crispy. The service was fast and friendly and all our food was warm. Very clean restrooms, tables, bar and floors. I would highly recommend going here, next time we try the tacos. There is a back to the menu also I missed a picture of that. I’m really not a mixed drink person so we didn’t buy anything from the bar. There was out side seating also. NICE plave.

Everything is done so well here. Definitely a Top 5 spot in the area. Dallas and Lehne are amazing too. So happy to see their success from the shipping container to their own location. Can’t recommend MNCHS enough.

Atmosphere is calming, the staff not so much, they seemed very irritated that I even had an order. Waited on an online order that was ready 12 minutes prior to arrival for the staff member to sift through paperwork for 15 minutes until they remembered to walk back and grab my order. Place was empty other than 2 customers enjoying a meal.
