I had a craving for an Italian Sandwich, so I did a quick google search and Angelo’s Italian Deli caught my attention and after reading several reviews, decided this will todays lunch. A quaint little deli, very clean and the customer service was awesome. I met the owner, Angelo, and he walked me thru the sandwiches and made some recommendations. I ordered the Troppo; Pesto, Chicken Cutlet, Prosciutto, Mortadella, Soppressata, Spicy Capicola, Roasted Balsamic Tomato, House Mozzarella, Greens, Balsamic Glaze. The meats and cheese are sliced as needed, so you are getting freshly cut meats. The Roasted tomato’s were really good, I could just eat those as a side! The sandwich was really good. The only thing that did not hit, was the chicken, as it was dry. But the overall, I would order this sandwich again. I would also recommend Angelo’s to others that are looking for a great deli sandwich.

The food was really good, very friendly and helpful staff who are quite knowledgeable about the menu. We got two sandwiches and two waters.
Drinks are extremely pricy though so wouldn’t recommend getting a drink there. Will absolutely go back though to try the side dishes especially- they looked very good but we didn’t get any on this trip. I really liked that the meatballs and chicken cutlets could be ordered by themselves. This would be an easy and highly tasty meal hack to be used for even when cooking at home.
Be mindful about the Limited seating available and
Extremely limited parking.

The employees working were really sweet. The owner was very nice and informative and heavily engaged in operations. He took the time to welcome his customers and share information about the food and his journey. The prices are excellent. My favorite was the ravioli and if you plan on doing a charcuterie board, you want to check them out for the variety of meats and cheeses. The chicken cutlet they add to the sandwiches is nothing short of amazing. I really liked the homemade fig as well surprisingly because I didn’t think I would.

Incredibly fresh and top quality ingredients! The owner is very personable and is making great food.
He recommended the Abruzzi sandwich and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
This is a two meal sandwich for me though! And he said it was a less filling option 🙂
About to devour this cannoli he piped by hand before handing over to me

Today me and my husband went here and man I can’t say enough good things. The staff were amazing and worked hard and the owner is so sweet! As a true italian who came from a huge italian family this place was amazing! The food was fresh and the flavors all meshed so good! I haven’t had an italian sandwhich like this since I was a child at my uncles salunto bakery. Mind you this is a tiny place and they just opened 3 days ago! So they are pretty slammed but I’m telling you the wait is SO WORTH IT! Please remember to be kind and understand that your coming to a place that is highly popular right now and so be patient and kind with the staff. They are working so hard to get the food out as fast as they can with the massive influx of people. I promise you it’s worth it for a small taste of Italy! I work give it 50 stars if I could! ❤️❤️

Terrible. Save your money. I got the Deli Boss and it was a cold sandwich with warm marinara on the wedge bread. Bread was cold like it was just pulled from the refrigerator. It was hard and inedible and cold. The prosciutto was inedible and seemed like they cut the outer casing or something and put it on the sandwich. The chicken cutlets were alright, but they have them sitting on the counter next to where people order and there were flies on them. This should have been my warning to get out of there, but I had hope. Save your money for now. Hopefully this place gets better.

I could type all day and still not say enough good things about Angelos. Everything was fresh and homemade – the meats being cut on a deli slicer in front of you, cannolis filled before your eyes, and Angelo himself standing there prepping chicken cutlets while you order. From the second you open the doors you’re met with the warm aroma of herbs, the smell of strong espresso, and the inviting and clean atmosphere that reminds me of my time growing up in NY. You place your order and pull up a seat at a cozy little deli table. I tried the cugino, the arbuzzi, and the 36th street (ask for it with a little cannoli sauce on top) alongside a cannoli and a cup of regular house coffee. I figured I’d try a little of everything and take some food to go for later. Not a single bite left with me – I couldn’t help myself. Every bite was thoughtfully layered to balance savory and sweet – the rite amount of bite and acid with the mellow fats from the meats and cheeses. This is the kind of food I grew up eating in my grandparents kitchen as first generation immigrants from Italy. This is the food of a master craftsman – someone that takes pride in quality and wants you to taste how much he loves what he does. All this wrapped up in a cozy little sleepy corner of Bethany. My only regret is not finding this place sooner.

The interior was nice and cozy! From the welcoming and warming service to the cleanliness of the restaurant I really enjoyed the dining. The seating selection is a bit small, so plan accordingly if you have a bigger family. Anyways, the food was really good! Me and my family (4 people) shared the margarita pizza, a Noona’s meatball, the Cugino, penne pasta, and a MAD delicious soup with red bell pepper and Gouda. I also ordered a tiramisu, but I haven’t ate it yet because the food was so filling and notably fresh. HEAVILY recommend if someone has a chance to try this place!

Paid $16.00 for the Gino Gino, it may had 2 thinly sliced pieces of roasted beef, the bread was dry and really no taste to it. I was so disappointed was hoping for a new sandwich place. I have noticed that this business will only respond if you leave a positive review.
