What an amazing experience! Superb service, friendly and casual. We started with mussels in a deliciously rich white wine sauce. Main dishes were the duck breast ( super tender with gouda mashed potatoes) and poke tuna tower, each were delightful.

We were very excited to try the Ramen and it was decent overall. The noodles and GF noodles were good. The eggs were perfect! The broth was good but lacked depth and was over salted.
The most disappointing part of this first time experience was the service. There were maybe 8-10 people there at lunch. It was not an enjoyable experience. Thankfully one waitress helped get the attention of our waitress to close our bill.
When one of our gift cards was declined the waitress did not explain why, only that there was “no button” to do the transaction. Then proceeded to invite us back for another meal and assure us the owner would be in at 2 to look at the button. We wanted to like this place but for $40 for two bowls of ramen and the service we got we won’t be going back. Oh and they charge a 3% credit card fee even if you don’t use that.

Very cute, cozy aesthetic with wood & brick walls. They even a couple less traditional seating areas with sofas & armchairs.
Food was FANTASTIC. Lots of food for the price. I ordered their lobster burger. Bun was toasty & buttery. Burger meat was spiced really well. Got Gouda mashed potatoes instead of traditional sides. Service was great, however wait for food was a little long.

The food and service here was amazing. We started with the bruschetta. Then my wife had the poke tower and I had the lamb gyro. We had the chocolate lave cake for desert. My wife had a bloody mary, I had a Dealers choice and the Stinger. All good choices, hope you like spicy with rhe stinger. Service was amazing.

Beautiful quiet place, moody and upscale. We were seated in the private room which was lovely for laughs and good conversation. Didn’t have to wait for a seat on a Saturday there were plenty of tables available and yet there were tables full as well, we came around 7. Food was good, would recommend the salmon. And the Chai white Russian.

Delightful. Saturday, afternoon, 1:30 a couple groups. Great meeting place for catching up with good friends we haven’t seen for a long time. Nice selection of wines. A friend said bruschetta should’ve been made with fresh mozzarella and fresh basil. It wasn’t. Reisling was very nice on a 70-degree summer day! The atmosphere was wonderful. Large photographs on brick accented by black & dark wood!!! Hostess, Sonja suggested the perfect pairing, Her one chocolate dessert was insanely good! They should have more.

I googled “best place to eat in Alexandria” and Garden Bar on 6th came up as one of the top choices. We went with it and were not disappointed. Kate was our server and was wonderful. She directed us to many options and we landed on burrata, steak and chicken with a cheesecake follow-up. Everything was amazing! We will be back!
