Such an amazing restaurant. I would never guess everything is gluten free! My friend has celiac and finding decent restaurants with gluten free items can be so tricky!

We had the most amazing meal. The bruschetta was fantastic – we selected the four option which is a mix. I ordered the gnocchi and to say it was delicious is an understatement. My husband had the Nandos Chicken who raved about it and he’s a snob about Italian food. There were so many dessert options but we celebrated the chocolate cake – very fudgy so order a coffee as well.

We will definitely be returning!

Stumbled upon this place on Google maps and happy we did! My wife has celiacs so going out to eat just isn’t in the cards until we found this place! It’s a small space and we didn’t have a reservation but luckily they were able to seat us at the bar. The food was all amazing and the owner and waitress were a delight to talk to. We will 1000% be coming back for our next date night.

Senza is exceptional and our most highly recommended restaurant in Los Gatos for Brunch or dinner!

It’s celiac friendly and the gluten free options are outstanding. For all those who claim gluten free can’t taste the same, think again! Some of our favorites are the arancini, the Chicken Parmesan, and the funghi polenta. For dessert, the beignets are mouthwatering. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, it’s all SO delicious. They have a great wine and cocktail selection and some creative mock-tails for those who don’t partake.

Norma is wonderful and takes care of her customers and cares deeply about the space and experience. We can’t recommend Senza enough!

We happened upon this little GF Gem today and couldn’t wait to tell you about it. Everything is GF. As a celiac, I felt so happy to be able to eat meatballs (no gluten-filled breadcrumbs inside), as well as a delish grilled cheese sandwich with yummy tomato bisque. We took some choc chip cookies and bread to go and made our world back out into gluten land. It’s one not to miss!

Senza delivers an impressive dining experience, especially for those seeking fully gluten free options without compromising on flavor or texture. The menu is thoughtfully designed, and the attention to detail shows in every dish.

The meatballs and spaghetti were a standout. The pasta had the perfect bite, and the meatballs were tender with rich, developed seasoning. It is a rare treat to find gluten-free Italian comfort food that tastes this authentic.

The chicken Parmesan maintained a crisp coating while remaining juicy inside, topped with a bright, balanced marinara and just the right amount of melted cheese. It is everything you hope for in the dish, simply without the gluten.

To finish, the cheesecake was smooth, decadent, and remarkably well crafted. It tasted like a true classic dessert rather than a gluten-free alternative.

Senza proves that gluten free dining can be both satisfying and elevated. A great spot for anyone who loves Italian cuisine and wants peace of mind along with a great meal.

I think many of the positive reviews here are left over from the previous restaurant, Polenteria. The new place just isn’t as good.

My friend used to love this spot when it was Polenteria, so she asked to celebrate her birthday dinner here. I called and made reservations several days in advance.

Unfortunately, the evening didn’t start well. When we arrived, there were two open tables for two. We asked for the more private one, but the host said it was reserved. About 20 minutes later, another couple came in and was seated there. They mentioned to me that they hadn’t requested a specific table—so it was frustrating to see them placed at the spot we were denied.

Next, our server brought drink menus, only to inform us that the restaurant doesn’t yet have its liquor license and all beverages were zero-proof. This was surprising, since I mentioned during the reservation call that it was a birthday dinner. It would have been helpful to know in advance.

As for the food, it was just okay. My friend said the menu looked nearly identical to Polenteria’s but wasn’t as good. I ordered the shrimp scampi special, and the shrimp was unfortunately overcooked.

Overall, the atmosphere didn’t feel very inviting or intimate, and the combination of the host’s dismissiveness and the lack of alcohol options made the evening less enjoyable than we had hoped.

Really wonderful for a cozy special occasion. There’s not many seats, so it felt intimate and warm. The food was delicious, especially the focaccia, bruschetta, mushroom gnocchi, and flourless chocolate dessert. I only wish the seatings were for longer as I would have loved to linger more. Hard to believe everything is gluten free.

Delicious gluten free Italian food (delicious even if you’re not gluten free). We had the lemon ricotta pancakes and the arancini di riso (fried risotto balls) and both were great. Service was friendly and food came out quickly.

Tucked away underneath Charley’s is a gem of a restaurant called Polenteria. With the feel of a European bar and 50s era dining room, Polenteria has a menu featuring twists on classic items such as Short Rib and Eggplant Parmesan and a unique variety of polenta.

The bread and butter appetizer is delicious. The focaccia is reminiscent of pound cake in its moistness and density. The Chicken Marsala was just right, not overcooked and loaded with mushrooms and string beans on a bed of mashed potatoes. The Watermelon and Crispy Pork Belly salad was different from any salad I’ve ever had. There was a soft bacon-like quality to the pork belly cubes and the watermelon had been seared and seasoned. The Limoncello Martini was a bit vodka-forward but good.

Overall, a special experience for those who are interested in gluten-free fusion Italian dishes.

Visited on Valentine’s Day weekend. This place is located in a back alley and is a very cozy setting. I think max seating is 20. The server was good. We ordered a drink, Arancini, Bruschetta and polenta and extra bread basket. Food was great. Best was polenta and Arancini. Bread was very good as well. Unfortunately they did have many dessert option left. Overall a very good experience and good food.
