I went around lunch time on a Wednesday and I’m so surprised that no one was there. The food was fresh. I got the harvest pita minus the lettuce and onion. I typically don’t like mustard (and all their pitas come with it), but it definitely adds flavor. The pita bread is standard pita. The worker stuffed mine full. There is extra pita at the top, and if you’re familiar with eating a pita type sandwich, you know it’s like that so your stuffing doesn’t fall out. I suggest eating from the side, not the top, to get a mouthful of everything on first bite. There is some seating inside the lobby area of the building and there’s some outside as well. Or if you fancy a short walk, there’s tables and chairs out at the town clock square. They offer bottle drinks instead of fountain, which is probably due to space, or maybe they just wanted to offer bottles drinks. No big deal to me. I just ordered and went home to eat since I was out running errands. The worker was very friendly. I asked if they make grilled cheese sandwiches regularly because they had a sign about tomato soup and grilled cheese. The soup is seasonal, but they do make grilled cheeses all the time. My son will love that. They also have a kids menu. And they also offer salads, paninis, and other sandwiches. If you want something that’s fresh and healthy, give this place a try. They also have a point system to earn a free pita. I got the harvest pita, chips and a drink for like $12 which is a good price compared to some fast food places.

I try to find something local, new and unique. I decided The Pita Company and was not disappointed. The food was GOOD.
The meat and cheese quality was not skimpy. It filled me up. My order was pricy DUE TO MY OWN DOING because I grabbed an extra water and tea for the road. The two ladies at the counter were friendly and knew their process. It had to be the fastest service I have gotten in a long time, and like I said, good. Nice job, thank you for the experience and filling my stomach.

Nothing but great service, not sure what’s up with the other weird reviews. Google should get with it. Always friendly to my husband and I each and every time. Pitas and wraps loaded with plenty of meat and toppings. Great food, and decent price. Always like to try new places out and this is one of our go to places in Bedford for a quick lunch now!

Today, I stood there for about 15 minutes and then I asked are these people picking up or are they ordering and the response was?
I’m actually just working on orders right now. The line was pretty long (but they were all waiting) typically you’re supposed to wait on customers when they come in, and not make them wait. so I left. I was not greeted at all.

I really want to support any restaurant that provides a meal option in downtown Bedford. I like the setup of the restaurant, which includes outdoor seating (watch out for the swivel seats!) The staff is very friendly and sandwiches are made quickly. I got a California Wrap, without bacon. The wrap was big but had very little on it. I could not taste any guacamole until the last few bites. Meat and cheese were pretty skimpy for $9.99. I also prefer fountain soda over bottled soda; meal deals would be nice.

During my first visit at this hellish food company, i was not only harassed with non-kind words but forcefully had to make my own food. I simply walk in and begin my pita pocket order and ask for extra spinach. Me and the employee get into a heated discussion saying she doesn’t want to add more spinach.. she then takes off her gloves and jumps over the counter and holds me against my will and forces the gloves onto my hands. she then is using slurs and derogatory terms instructing me to make my own food. I then have to go behind the counter with the young blonde employee forcing me to make my own food. I even had to ring up my own pita pocket. This is experience was not good and the management has not reached out to me yet. I will never go back. The employee was blonde and drives a bronco is the only information I have gathered. Do not go here.

Well, I was very disappointed today Saturday April 13th. We were not greeted by the employee. She simply said what do you want and proceeded to make our sandwich. Thinking that the pita would have everything in it like the ones they make in Lynchburg at River Ridge Mall, I figured the girl would get it right. We were super disappointed to barely have any cheese and no mayonnaise at all on our pita. It’s just about another 30 minutes for me to get a better pita in Lynchburg and I guess thats what I will do in the future.
What happened to good customer service? Why can’t people just do a job and be polite?

Guess since I created the listing for the place I should review it too. It is… fine. Coldcuts and veg slapped inside of an okay pita. Nothing groundbreaking or inventive. I’ll go again to try a panini and hope to be impressed. Located inside of a former bank the space inside seems to be setting up to have additional businesses located inside as the pita shop covers a tiny fraction of the square footage. Handful of tables and chairs available inside with the option to always eat outside at ‘The Clock’ with the outdoor tables.
