What I thought was a good price was far overshadowed by the terrible quality and amount of food I was actually served. I’ll never be back here again and I sincerely hope that I’m saving someone else the trouble because that’s exactly what it was. Trouble.
Edit: As you can see from the reply of the owners, the rice was nothing to comment about either. Not a single vegetable, no flavor. Also forgot to mention the egg rolls were god awful as well. Not the worst I’ve ever had but close.

This was my first visit, and our waiter was very nice and informative. My son and I both got the Cantonese Chicken with an egg roll…it all was delicious the next time in Greenville I will definitely return!

Happy China Verdae will always be my go to Chinese restaurant when I go back to that side of town that I lived on for over 30 years. I love clear Wonton Soup and egg rolls. I use to live by their sweet and sour chicken but I have not had it in years. I stopped today for 2 different soups for my brother after his oral surgery and grabbed me a couple egg rolls, the only restaurants that I eat.

Absolutely incredible and authentic Chinese food, their egg rolls are the BEST. On a chilly/foggy day it was a perfect day for their vegetable soup. Definitely recommend this place for everyone and large parties.

We stopped in for lunch. Our food was hot and fresh. The waiter was polite and wearing a mask. I enjoyed my Chicken Chow mein but it was a little bland. The fried dumplings very good in my opinion. My husband enjoyed his General Tso chicken. The egg rolls also very good. We will definitely return.

The food here is very tasty. Their friend chicken wings have a unique nongreasy flavor. To my folk who love shrimp fried rice and chicken wings, you’ve got to try it here. They have a special that’s rice, 2 wings and soup with egg rolls. You can get 2 egg rolls instead of soup too. 2 wings doesn’t sound like alot but this meal fills you up. I go here often. The service is really good and quick when you done in too.

I was impressed. I was not expecting the food to be good, but I had a craving for Chinese food and just needed to satisfy it.
I ordered the orange chicken with no expectations other then it would be orange chicken. It was not your standard mystery meat, but was beautiful strips of chicken. The sauce was delicious, as a coating sauce and not a yelled goop. Brocoli and vegetables were cooked perfectly.
I don’t know if I will have the same fantastic experience the next time I go, but I am optimistic.

Chicken was not crispy like I’m used to and the fried rice was TRASH!! It had no flavor to the point where I went home to add my own hoisin sauce and it tasted like leftovers. The rice also had some type of noodles in it that was disgusting and the eggs looked like they were not even fried. I doubt I will go back for anything more than egg rolls.

If I could give zero stars I would, first and last time that we order from this place. We called in a take out order, the order was correct and ready on time, but we payed almost $50 for food and got half full containers. We ordered a large pepper steak and it came in a small take out container and was half full….. Take a look at the pictures, would you spend almost $50 for that? Plus it wasn’t even tasty…… My “bourbon” chicken was fried chicken cut up with a nasty store bought teriyaki gel on the side. The lo mein had an almost bug spray flavor to it. And once again, half full containers.
