Got a to go order today.
“homemade crabcakes” are literally imitation crab on the inside. There was no mention of this in the menu to explain they are not real crab (even spelled with a C). I figured I was getting actual crab. Not fake fish paste for 21 dollars for 3 small crab cakes. Coconut shrimp didn’t have much coconut flavor but good crust. Caesar salad had tomato and onion for some reason. I will say the chicken and dumpling soup, baked potato and the bread pudding were good.
Staff was very nice.
Wished for more since I live just down the road however I felt It was not worth the money by any means.

Loved the food and atmosphere here. I stay with my in laws in flushing and it was nice to get out and enjoy fresh air and dining with my pup on the patio!!

Service was fast and our waitress was kind and polite. The food was amazing! Their chicken and dumplings were delicious and their chocolate cake is absolutely amazing. I would come back to flushing just to eat here.

Ordered the Chicken Brussel sprout salad with no tomotoes or onions and was disappointed. It came with spinach, chicken, feta, grapes, & cucumbers but missing cranberries & missing bacon. Paid $18 out the door- $22 including tip.
Came in towards the end of the night tonight when a manager was sitting at the bar doing inventory (not the bartender) & boasting about how she’s not ordering anything until whomever can get their shit together, and how whomever is training the new person, isn’t teaching them right & isn’t making a good impression.
Don’t think I’ll back.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant in flushing. Everything we have had has been exceptional, and we’ve tried most of the menu. If you go in on a weekend, try the special, they’re always amazing. Their homemade bread is amazing, the chicken dumpling soup, beer cheese soup, French onion soup, clam chowder and minestrone soup are all spot on. It would be hard for me to pick a favorite meal but the filet melts in your mouth and the smothered chicken is amazing as well. The sea cuterie board and crab cakes are really good also. This place has great food, and even better service. The front is a traditional fine dining feel and there’s a cute little bar in the back with a more laid back intimate feel that I usually go to. If you’re in the area, stop in, you won’t be disappointed.

Found this place online, decided to take a drive and give it a try since we avoid “big box” restaurants. I can’t say we were disappointed, but possibly expecting more. Ordered Shareable Coconut Shrimp which were just flat frozen shrimp, definitely was not happy. I had fish n chips and it was great and my SO had Pan fried Walleye (which he gets everywhere that serves it) and only ate 1/4 of it. Seasoning wrong and heavy he said. Very decent prices and nice cold tall mugs of beer

Food was so good and I love the staff ❤️ Gluten free and vegetarian options included. Went out for Valentine’s day and even then the food wait wasn’t bad at all (although they were pretty booked because of the holiday). Cozy atmosphere, great place for date night!

My wife and her girl friend meet here once a month. Apparently the restaurant is under new ownership. They asked for bread but couldn’t get any. No more crabcakes as an entre, only as an appetizer. The menu calls for two slices of meatloaf but only one came with the meal. The waiter was good enough to get one slice to go with no additional charge. The points earned could not be used as the cashier did not know how to ring it up. Bottom line, they will go else where.

While we weren’t overwhelmed with our meals, the service was great and overall it is a cute place. I just went to eat my leftovers from last night, and noticed there was a long piece of hair in my food. It was definitely way too long to be mine. As a former restaurant worker, this is probably my biggest pet peeve. Hair nets should be a requirement.

This restaurant is right in town Flushing. Nicely decorated. I would say more adult dining or a date night atmosphere. The food is a little more upscale menu. We had fast and friendly service. We started out with the sea cuterie board. Delicious
2 house salads raspberry vinegrett and ranch. Spaghetti dinner and the country fried ribeye. Highly recommend for a date night
