We loved the ambiance of this little diner. Reminded me of moms home cooking and the staff was just as friendly. I will definitely be coming back the next time I visit Montrose. A nice stop between the airport and any of the ski resorts!

My elderly grandparents made reservations for Thanksgiving, but they had to close early. So they delivered Thanksgiving dinner to my grandparent’s house! What a beautiful gesture to make their day.

If I could give them a 10-star review, I would!

Thanks for taking care of your treasured customers!

First time here and loved it! I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito smothered in green chili. I also ordered a side of their delicious homemade ranch style beans and poured it over the top. So good! The service was friendly and efficient. I’ll definitely be back.

Traveling with our dog, we needed a place with a shaded patio and wanted burgers. We almost missed the cafe because the main sign is hard to read—the word CABIN is in natural wood-on-wood and should be in black. But the teen servers were so attentive, fast, and nice. Very good hand-cut fries and burgers! It’s steps away from hey 50 so the patio was very noisy, but it’s a nice little cafe.

Great burgers! The wife and I stopped by on the way out of town from the airport. It is a nice little mom and pop place. Nothing fancy but a decent breakfast and lunch menu. We each got different burgers and different fries. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was well prepared. Cost was very reasonable. We would surely eat there again.

If you’re looking for a warm, cozy, and homie dining experience, look no further than The Cabin Restaurant. This charming mom & pops establishment goes above and beyond expectations. Their breakfast burrito, smothered in green salsa, is bursting with flavor and truly a must-try. The service is impressively fast, and the food is always fresh, capturing the essence of Country Colorado Mountains flavor. A special shoutout to Fernanda, who did an excellent job taking care of my order. Highly recommended!

I got the mushroom swiss burger with sweet potato fries. The fries were a little soggy (most SP fries are) but the burger had a REALLY good flavor and wasn’t greasy. I’d definitely go back!

Delicious, homey burger and great fry sauce. Added sweet potato fries, crisped to perfection. Burger wasn’t dry, nice bun. Fantastic employees, fast service.

Knocked off 2 stars when the price for 2 skinny, very crispy pieces of bacon was an additional $3.00; not thick applewood smoked or anything, but basically paper thin. Avocado slices are also paper thin, almost non-existent.

They USED to be good. This was once a favorite of ours for burgers and fries. We moved away a year ago and during our current visit, our kids requested to eat here. I could probably write a book on things that weren’t good during our lunch, but I will just post the top one. These are the “burgers” our kids were served. We had 4 kids cheeseburgers. All 4 had multiple chunks of burger pieced together in a tiny area that only took up half the bun. However, this one took the cake because the pieces weren’t even connected.

After spending 8 days in Telluride and Mountain Village, my family and I stopped here on the way to the airport. This was by far some of the best food we had during our entire trip. Definitely cheaper than the $200 average meal in Mountain Village. Stop here and eat. Great food, I had the tacos and son had the burrito.
