We enjoyed this meal so much! We were greeted and seated right away. Our server, Shay, was patient, fast and friendly with 6 of us. Our food came out quickly, exactly as ordered and hot. The dining room and restrooms were very clean. The prices, especially for the children, were very good. We’ll definitely be back.

I want to give a shot out to our waitress Shay. She deserves a raise y’all. If you go here and get the chance to meet her she is not like the youngins these days. She was very respectful and humble. She took great care of us and we will be back to see her again. Keep that head up Shay. If so restaurants had an atmosphere like that it would be a better place. Good bless you Shay.

When my kids and I came in for dinner, there weren’t many people dining. Took longer than expected to get a seat. Had to be wiped down before we were seated. Waitress was sweet but not very attentive. Ordered our drinks right away, didn’t get them for roughly 15 minutes. (Only 2 waters and a hot chocolate) The fries were not very good, burgers were very tasty, chicken was tasty, but the fruit bowl apples were gross. We would eat here again, though, to try out more.

The atmosphere in Bob Evans Bluefield feels like a cafeteria. I am not a fan of cafeterias, they remind me of being in a communist country where everything is rationed. And, in my opinion, the food is bland. Sorry Simar. I have a good friend who cooks at this location.

Strangest combination of an American chain & a Mom &Pop down home restaurant rolled into one that I’ve ever experienced. The restaurant itself was clean, 1950’s, brick walled, warm, woodtoned interior.
The server, Melvin, was friendly, and seemingly telepathic!

The turkey was excellent, juicy, sliced with a satisfying thickness that was just right.
Mashed potatoes were creamy & real- delicious.
The corn had a delicate smoky flavor that was ever so slightly present, but brought an authenticity that was a nice note.
The stuffing definitely was crying for celery, but I imagine that would be too exotic.
Remarkably, I finished the whole plate, as it was a very generous portion.

Our waitress was terrible, she would check on all her other tables except us, and we were right beside them. I guess they were regulars. We asked for milk & OJ with our food. We were half way thru our meal before we got those, and the OJ tasted like orange water. The pancakes & sausage links were pretty good. The hash browns were burnt. Can’t even believe they served them!

Took about 20 mins to even order, they were not busy either, then an additional 40-45mins I asked waitress to check on food. She went and brought it right out. It had been sitting back there long enough to be ice cold. Party of 4 all cold food. The waitress was also intoxicated. Went up front told a waitress what was going on and that we was not eating cold food and was not waiting any longer for it to be redone. We left. Will never be back.

Waited 30 minutes when tables were open. When we were seated table was dirty. Had to ask 2 people for a towel to wipe it down. Got the food after 40 minutes, eggs were not cooked fully, hash browns cold. Then we had to ask for our bill.
