This is a great location mid mountain with amazing views no matter where you are sad there are double hike windows of spectacular views of the time out in all around it’s surprising of how many people can fit easily into this location food and beverages. The staff were second there was super super friendly and very very welcoming to families and large groups. The food was particularly good with me to order sandwiches Ruben and burgers the fries Huge the place to go for lunch.

This is Alta’s main on-mountain dining restaurant to stop at for a break during your day of skiing. The food is expensive but it is solid. The oatmeal raisin cookie is probably the best one we have ever had. It was amazing! There is also a small gift shop within Alf’s that has tons of cool Alta branded stuff.

This is a food court that doesn’t allow outside food and drink. My main issue was with the soup station. There was no queue management for the soup station and people didn’t queue nicely. The staff didn’t seem to care either and would just ask “who is next”and whoever spoke faster and louder would be the next. One guy cut me like that (he even stood behind me). When I said “here”, the staff glanced at me and told the guy “keep going keep going” like I was the one causing a trouble.
The price was really high even for a ski resort food court. $35 for a salad and soup is steep, especially since the portions are too small to feed an adult.

Views are great food is garbage. I got a burger and it was premade wrapped in tinfoil handed to me and looks sadder than a kid School lunch for 15 bucks. At least put some love into the food if you’re going to charge so much!

Pretty good food. Would recommend the excellent chili! Pricey but that’s to be expected for ski food. Only reasons this doesn’t get 5 stars is their COVID plan. Eating outside was safe (order online, pickup inside), but if you want to eat inside you have to wait in a long line that’s not social distanced, inside without ventilation, and has a lot of people without masks.

The new renovation at Alf’s offers even more beautiful views of Alta. My kids get fries, and my husband loves a good CHETO (grilled cheese sandwich with tomato). I highly recommend heading to the furthest side away from the checkout registers for the best tables with windows overlooking the runs.

$20 Rachel sandwich with 0 turkey. That’s horrible. Maybe the FNG was working the food line, but I was robbed. Not happy.
Look at the reviews for the past year, this place is bottom drawer now.

The only line at alta that moved quickly today. Nice people. Quintessential ski food.

Alf’s ain’t cheap, but is there any on-mountain restaurant in the Rockies that is? Not that I’ve come across. $4 for about 6-8 ounces of coffee.
But…the location is great, (right between Sugarloaf and Supreme), where you can pop in, grab something quick and be on your way.
Don’t sleep on the tables outside underneath the main deck. There’s a bathroom that’s always empty and a window where you can grab drinks. Alta is simply the best.

Decent sized restaurant halfway on the mountain. Serves typical ski food.
