My family stayed at Smith Lake Park with the Alabama Widows Sons Masonic Riding Association for our annual rally this past weekend and my son and I loved coming to you guys for our lunch to cool off and refresh! My son, Tristan (roadname “Rex”) drew a 5 Star review for you and was thrilled to come back the next day to see it hanging on the wall! Thank you for making him feel so special! We all loved the food!!!

Decent food. The locals will stare at you like you don’t belong. Felt very uncomfortable. Only takes cash.

Food is good but service always sucks. Another day and food was good and was busy. All was good till someone lit up a cigarette in back.

We came in from out of state to visit with family and we stopped in here for some lunch. Best food so far in our 3 days here. The service was amazing and the lady’s were extremely sweet. Not sure why there are so many crazy reviews about “attitude issues” but we enjoyed it very much! We will definitely return as long as they are open for business.

I just moved to the area, and thought on our way home, we’d stop in to try out the food. Ordered and waited about 25 mins. Then our food comes. Gross will never eat there again. The hashbrowns are so greasy The grilled chicken is bland. The fries were burnt and cold. My toast was soggy. NOT GOOD AT ALL.

Do not listen to previous reviews about this place. It is great. Locally owned, good ole’ country folks cooking good ole’ southern food. It is not a new establishment, so it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles. It does have delicious food and super nice employees, who were very attentive to us. Double cheeseburger was HUGE and so good!! Can’t wait to eat breakfast there tomorrow ☺️

We looked forward to eating here, but as soon as we sat down the waitress said it would be a 2 hour wait. We walked out and the cook told us that was not true and to come on back inside. We sat and waited and the waitress was pissy and when we ordered she kept letting out angry sighs and was irritated to even take our order, and when my sister asked for no tomato she said, “it comes with everything so” and yanked the menus from my finances hands. We got up and left and she told us that we had no common sense. The cook was super nice, but we would never go back as long as that waitress continues to work there, and they will lose business. We didn’t catch her name, but I wouldn’t even have asked.

This will be the first and last visit to here more than likely. My family and I were looking for a ‘hole-in-the-wall’ place to eat after church and found this place via Google. With good reviews we gave it a shot. The website states “Serving BURGERS & HOSPITALITY”. My daughter and I ordered cheeseburgers and they were decent-although overpriced imo to not include a side- but we were greeted with zero hospitality. Our waitress seemed angry to even see customers walk through the door and only served us because it was her job to do so. Granted she could’ve been having a bad day, but when serving the public is your chosen occupation, and you are the face of the business, you need to at least ‘fake it till you make it’ to keep repeat business. We even heard her conversation with the cook and she stated she “preferred her Saturday crowd to her Sunday crowd”. Well, ok then. We won’t be back any day of the week.
