The area’s best destination stop along the scenic Rock River on IL Rt2 with great views of the Blackhawk Statue. Voted best food 4 years in a row thru Bikers magazine with our world renown Chef J’shun. Summer time enjoy the rumbling sounds of motorcycles and hotrods along with live music. In the fall we have the best view of the scenic bluff as the trees change colors. Wintertime things don’t slow down much as we specialize in a more restaurant type atmosphere with good bar vibes. We are the number one place for Karaokee on Fridays and plenty of other events throughout the weekend. Kids are welcomed and the kitchen stays open late.

Rode out to Sledgehammers with my biker friends group and absolutely loved it!
The ride there is beautiful especially along the Rock River, making it a perfect destination for bikers.
We stopped for drinks and snacks, and the cheese pretzel was seriously good!
I had a great conversation with the owner he and his family run the place, and they’re incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can feel the passion and warmth in the way they host everyone.
Highly recommend this spot to fellow riders great vibes, delicious food, and a biker-friendly destination I’ll definitely be visiting again!

Stopped in yesterday after floating the river. Great food, wonderful service. The folks behind the bar were a total vibe. Love the atmosphere! Great view of the Blackhawk statue! Fun place, great backwoods homey atmosphere. Small menu but daily specials. Typical bat food, mostly fried stuff. Always on the hunt for a bar with non fried and veggies options. Prices are comparable to what is the new norm since Covid and shortages. The owner and staff are really amazing and encourage healthy fun. Live music or karaoke most nights.
