Kerby’s, Its been there as long as I can remember. We moved into Livonia in 1964 and I would like to say it was there that far back but sadly no. I do remember it being there when I started working at the ACE when I was 16yo. It’s a place i frequented in High school, college and after I graduated. Whenever I returned to Livonia over the past 40 years for a visit it always included a trip to Kerby’s. It was my dad, daughter and myself. Coneys for all and a big plate of chili cheese fries washed down with a Coke. Lots of great memories were made there for me and my family. If you ever in the area and get a chance to stop in, it’s a must.

Are you waitresses are underpaid pay Heather and Mary give them both ways and give out the waitresses raises. They’re all good except for the man waiter. Do not give him a raise because he’s not as good but give all the waitresses a raise. They deserve a pay raise. They are released $25 an hour or more. and that is Kirby’s Coney Island and 6 mile Newburgh. They’re the best Coney Island ever I ever been into so please give these waitresses good comments. They are really good and they Elizabeth, the waitress is really good and I like all the waitresses here they’re very good. Very good job. Give them always give them at least 45% raise. make sure they customers are happy.

Just had one of the best gyros of my life at the little Kerby’s at Six and Newburgh. It was just as good as, if not better than any Middle-eastern restaurant. The mini gyro was huge. Thick slices, lots of sauce. And the spinach pie was fresh and not dried out.
Highly recommended, if you are ever in this area.

I hate to complain but we were told to seat anywhere. We sat and Waited at our seats for about five mins and was never ask for drinks or our order. They basically didn’t acknowledge us it was poor customer service. They weren’t even busy. Maybe 3 tables and there were waitresses available just standing around talking. Not very welcoming do not recommend.

Went to have a quick lunch with my kids. Waitress came over and took our drink order. After 12 minutes we had no drinks or communication and walked out. Not the first time this has happened. I understand they may have been short staffed but other tables were getting drinks that had come after us.

Can’t rate the food or the atmosphere. But when I phoned to make a carryout order, they asked me to hold, and then they put the phone down. I could hear the background conversations in the restaurant over the phone, and waited patiently for them to pick the handset back up to take my order. After roughly 6 minutes of waiting, there were some sounds like somebody was finally picking the handset back up, but then they just hung the phone up without saying a word. When I tried to call back, they must’ve connected the phone to some sort of computer modem or fax machine, because there were only electronic beeps on the other end. Additional attempts connected to a recording stating the call could not be completed as dialed.
The food is probably fine, but I can’t really say because I gave up.

Food came out wrong and not all at once my husbands and my youngest got there food then I 10 mins later mine and my oldest came the other server was on her phone walking taking food to tables on the phone our server was vary nice and sweet

I’m new to this area and when I saw that there was Kirby’s I had to swing by because they’re one of my favorites from where I used to live. So I got a couple of chili dogs and some chili fries. Services fast waitress was friendly and the food was hot. The chili fries were spot on. But the Coney dogs, the hot dogs must have been cooking a very long time. They were tuff and dried out, and the buns were dried out. A big disappointment.
I told the waitress, she did offer new coneys, i asked her if they are coming from the same batch that was served me and she said yes. So i declined the offer.
Like I said it was a disappointing visit.
