Not sure why this place has poor reviews. I’ve been a frequent visitor since they’ve opened, and have never had a problem. Had one of the new lunch combos today for $10, and I couldn’t even finish everything. The food here is always packed full of flavor, made fresh, and the staff are always kind. Such an underrated spot in North Fargo. Dave’s could never compare.

my boyfriend and i came to eat here as it’s our go to place to eat, and not only were we missing food, (which isn’t that big of an issue), but we watched an employee, i believe his name is kaiden, sneeze into his hands and continue to not wash his hands, but go on his phone and help a customer, WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS, which all of which are way against food safety regulations. it makes me question their servesafe certification posted by their mobile order pickup cart. also, there was a bread tag on my tray with my mac and cheese and fries.. this experience ruined our views on this restaurant.(also added a picture of an example of their unkempt lobby)

I I ordered the hot chicken fingers meal in medium, and it was cooked to order and fresh for me. I thought the quality of the rub was really good and the overall food quality was great. You have to wait a little bit for your order because it’s cooked to order but I think it’s worth that. The medium was slightly too hot for me, but flavor wise it was fantastic. I tried Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken for the first time tonight and I was thoroughly impressed! I ordered two entrees. One was a boneless chicken wing mac n cheese and the other was a chicken wrap. The portions are big!!! Certainly worth the dollar amount.
The inside decor is pretty cool with two large murals on the walls. The staff seemed to be having a good time in the kitchen. Business was busy for 8 PM on a Friday.
Next time I’ll have to try a shake! Oh, and the spicy bbq sauce was really good! My two entrees were ordered mild. Not too hot but had a little kick!

I had never been to hangry joes, I decided to check it out! Won’t be back The so called hot honey chicken sandwich taste nothing like hot honey! It was very bland the chicken was over cooked the bread seemed very dry so taking a bite was quite the struggle the “sauce” they give you did not help the sandwich at all!! I got the basket the wedges were not fresh at all must of been sitting for an extended amount of time !! There was 2 young men working and there was literally nobody else there. I waited about 12 minutes or so I also ordered the honey bbq wings to try those were better of the 2 items. I got the bone in. 7/10 for the wings. Sandwich is like 1/10. I would have tried the Mac n cheese but like everything here it comes out of a jug or a can or bag ! They don’t even make the ranch so to me that’s a slip a simple item that could be easily done in house. The ranch is labeled from some signature steak house! Make your own Mac make your own signature sauces and put some actual hot honey sauce on your sandwiches and I may be back.

I placed my order online. When I picked up my order I told the guy my order number. He looked at the order on the counter and asked if I was another customer. I said no and gave him my name. After I arrived home I noticed they did not pack my order of fries. I also ordered chicken and waffles, the waffles were so over cooked they were like hockey pucks. They taste like pure fryer oil. So needless to say those went strait to the trash. Such a terrible experience. I think I will go to Dave’s hot chicken from now on.

First time coming to Hangry Joe’s and it’s not what I expected it. The food is ok, wait times are decent, but the biggest thing is that they forgot part of our order. I had to remind the employees (who were nice and accommodating) that we ordered two shakes, unfortunately. Had I not, we wouldn’t have gotten our shakes at all. I wish to give this place another chance, but first impressions are everything. 🙁
